As people around the world partied their way into the new year, two mothers gave birth to two of the last babies of 2013 and two of the first babies of 2014. While born just minutes apart, their twin babies entered the world in two different years.
On Dec. 31, 2013, at 11:58 p.m., Yaleni Santos Tohalino gave birth to baby girl Lorraine Yaleni Begazo, who weighed at 6 pounds, 4.9 ounces, at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, in Washington, D.C.
Soon after, her twin brother Brandon Ferdinando Begazo was born on Jan. 1, 2014, at 12:01 a.m., weighing at 5 pounds, 10.4 ounces.

 Amazing movie reveals a set of newborn twins, a son and a girl, locked in a tender embrace with their eyes shut because they are bathed for the first time. The 2minute 50-second long clip was transferred to YouTube on November 8 by Paris-based midwife Sonia Rochel, and has since been viewed nearly 6million times. Ms Rochel created the clip community to highlight'The Thalasso Baby Bobble head water'- a small bath tub and bath system she made for children to replicate the sensation of being in the womb. Nike Oshinowo's estranged husband is actually in the dark about her new adventure,  He told Encomium mag:

"I still don't find it true. The story is false. They are just attempting to sell their papers, I guess. Nike could have difficult but here is the last thing she can do. She doesn't have any twins through surrogacy ". Dr Soleye maintained that the story could be the figment of the imaginations of desperate tale bearers.

A 57 year-old teacher, Mrs Anike Ajayi, on Monday gave birth to twins after 31 years of childlessness in Ekiti. She described the delivery as a `miracle ', saying she gave birth to a son and a girl after she'd stopped her menstrual circle. Since 1982, whenAnike Ajay got married, she couldn't conceive.

“I thank God for what He did in my own life.“Lots of people had mocked me over the years, but I thank God that He

finally answer my prayers,” she said.
The husband, Mr Olu Ajayi, 65, was happy and stated that the babies were to console him for the years of barrenness.

The doctors of a Hospital in New Delhi, India, declared on September 4, 2013, Wednesday that a pair of formerly conjoined twins, born in Nigeria, were healthy and happy after they were successfully separated in a marathon “nerve-wracking” operation in India by a team of 40 specialists. The one-year-old girls, sporting matching bright pink dresses, sat patiently on their parents’ laps as doctors explained “They were fused at their back when they came to us which is very rare,” paediatric surgeon Prashant Jain said.

mother has defied odds of 500,000 to one by giving birth to her third set of twins - baby girls Rowan and Isla.Karen Rodger, 41, and husband Colin, 44, from Langbank in Renfrewshire were "over the moon" at the new arrivals to their family on May 29 at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow.

The girls, who are not identical, were delivered by caesarean section with Rowan arriving first, and two minutes later Isla.
