Token: Billionaire businessman, Otunba Mike Adenuga gives Super Eagles $250,000 to defeat France



Sport Minister  and Chairman, National Sports Commission (NSC) Dr. Tammy Danagogo over the weekend revealed that billionaire businessman Otunba Mike Adenuga gave him $250,000 to share with the Super Eagles in Brazil to encourage them to beat France today, promising to complete more if they win and advance to the quarter-final stage.

According to Danagogo, who has since presented the cash to the team, Mike Adenuga, while presenting the cash to him said;
"This is a token and if the team goes ahead and shock the world, I will join Mr President to shock the team.”

'How I ventured into into the oil business' - Billionaire, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija reveals




 One of the world's richest black women, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija has opened up on how she got into the oil business that has made her a billionaire. Speaking during the Women Inspiration & Enterprise WIE event that held two weeks ago, the chairman of Famfa Oil & Gas, said she got into the business through perseverance and hard work

"It was not a planned thing at all. A friend actually contacted me that some people wanted to buy crude oil and she was wondering if I will be able to get them to make the purchase. I got an appointment with the Minister of Petroleum and he told me that it's not the way to go because there wasn't much profit in selling it and because it's a foreign company that Nigeria is imposed at selling its crude to international market. That it will be better to look at other things. I went back to my friend and told her what the Minister said.

Naomi Campbell and billionaires hmnnm! The 43 year old model was spotted in Paris two days ago with Nigerian billionaire businessman Kola Aluko moving out to lunch.  For folks who don't know who Kola Aluko is, he's a big player in the oil and gas and aviation sector worldwide. He is the deputy CEO and leading shareholder in Seven Energy, a fat and gas firm, with HQ in Lagos and London. He is also on the advisory board of Vista Jet, a Swiss based private jet charter company. It was reported recently he flies throughout the world in their own Private Jet, while another spare jet follows at the back. Naomi Campbell don't play...:-)

Nigerian Female Billionaire Defeats Oprah Winfrey hands down To Become Richest African Woman In The World




Move over Oprah, Nigerian oil tycoon Folorunsho Alakija is currently the richest African woman on earth by having an estimated fortune of $7.3 billion.
Africa boasts 55 billionaires – far significantly more than previously thought – and they're worth a staggering $143.88 billion as a whole, according to pan-African magazine Ventures Africa.

Starting her career as a secretary in a bank in the mid 1970s, Alakija, 62, then studied fashion in London and returned to Nigeria to take up a label, Supreme Stitches. But her biggest break came in oil.

Billionaire Mike Adenuga has allegedly given staffers a new task - to search for all of his abandoned properties.

Sources disclosed this directive is a taken as 'a priority' at the legal department of the wealthy man's money maker multinational, Globacom'

According to an informant ' an estate in Lagos wrote a letter of complaint to the management of Globacom, that weeds had over taken one of Mr Adenuga's properties...harbouring criminals and rodents in the process. Nigerian Billionaire, Jimoh Ibrahim Barred From Speaking At Anti-Corruption Conference



The billionaire was accused of corruption by a civil society group.
According to the reports, embattled owner of Air Nigeria, Jimoh Ibrahim, was not allowed to speak at an anti-corruption conference organised by the Central Bank of Nigeria in conjunction with the Nigerian Police and the London Metropolitan Police.
A civil society group, Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC), had petitioned the British Government not to allow Mr. Ibrahim speak at the conference, in which he had been pencilled down as a speaker.

A recent update has revealed that Nigerian Billionaire, Mike Adenuga has spent a whooping N200 Million for a burial site.
The burial site, that is located at Vaults and Garden, a really modern cemetery in Ikoyi, Lagos is now final resting place of the rich and affluent.
In accordance with reports, to have an average space in the cemetery would cost about N750, 000 and above. But if you'd rather live a much more affluent life after death, N40 Million would enable you to get a number of the executive spots.

Report has it that even the super-rich have their very own corner. Adenuga's recently deceased sister had one of these brilliant to herself. The Globacom boss paid N200 Million to secure a space for his sister. Her next door neighbor in this exclusive section is Gboyega, son of another super rich man, Otunba Adekunle Ojora and his fashionable wife, Ojuolape. Gbegi, like he was popularly known, was born in 1960 and died in 2011.

Naomi Campbell sacks The Face model for dating her billionaire ex



 You don't mess with Naomi Campbell or her ex. Chinese model, Luo Zilin, 1st runner up for Naomi's model competition show 'The Face' has been fired by her management firm for 'unprofessional conduct' and an 'unacceptable work ethic' after being photographed frolicking with Naomi's ex boyfriend, billionaire Valdimir Doronin.

The former Miss Universe China was mentored by Naomi Campbell on the modeling reality show and there are indications that Luo and Vlad met through Naomi.

Neal Hamil, President, MIX Model Management NYC, confirmed they have terminated their contract with the 25 year old aspiring model. 
'Zi Lin's contract with MIX Model Management NYC was terminated last week due to ongoing unprofessional conduct and unacceptable work ethic.

74 year old billionaire businessman Chief Adeojo's young wife gives birth to twins



Chief Michael Adeojo is the Chairman of Elizade Motors, the biggest distributors of Toyota vehicles in Nigeria and the father of internationally acclaimed fashion designer, Deola Sagoe. He will be 75 June this year. 
I got this exclusive gist from someone close to the billionaire's young wife, Taiwo, who was his secretary before he married her a few years ago after he lost his wife.  Taiwo (pictured above with chief Adeojo) gave birth to  twins, a boy and a girl yesterday night in a London hospital. Nigerian leading female Billionaire, Folorunsho Alakija is the longer the world's richest black woman according to Forbes. She was displaced by 40-year-old Isabel dos Santos, the oldest daughter of Angolan President, Jose Eduardo Dos Santos. Isabel has been buying more shares of publicly traded companies in Portugal, including shares in a bank and a cable TV company. Those stakes, combined with assets she owns in at least one bank in Angola, have pushed her net worth over the $1 billion mark, making her Africa’s number one woman billionaire.

However, Mrs Alakija is still the richest woman in Nigeria.
