Man accused of raping neighbour’s 8-yr-old daughter

A 32-year-old driver, Muhammadu Alabi, has been arraigned before an Abule-Egba Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, on a charge of alleged rape of an eight-year-old daughter of his neighbour.
The accused lives at 34, Emmanuel Aina Street, Aboru, Ipaja, Lagos. He, however, pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Racheal Williams, told the court that the offence was committed at the residence of the defendant on September 3.

A 42-year old suspect, identified as Rasak Ishola, has been arrested by the police for allegedly ra-ping and impregnating a 16-year old daughter of a legal practitioner in Lagos State.The incident took place at their Igando residence, where the victim, her family and the defendant reside.
Rasak Ishola also allegedly aborted the pregnancy without her parent’s knowledge. The complications arising from the abortion made the girl fall sick.

When her parents became apprehensive about her illness and asked her what happened and why her condition had deteriorated over time, she then opened up and confessed what happened to her.
