Skipping out on shut-eye can mean problems at home. - Reaserch



When it comes to the subject of sleep, I am a fanatic. I’ll admit I am biased. I have always needed a lot of sleep — nine to 10 hours! — so it’s easy for me to notice the impact of a poor night’s sleep; I get short and irritable. Still, it seems people can get used to sleeping with less and start to think it’s normal. I hear this kind of thing in my office all the time: “I’ve never slept  well. I do fine on six hours a night. I have too much to do to sleep.”

Recent research confirms the negative impact too little sleep has on our relationships. This study surveyed 100 couples, putting over 70 of them in a sleep lab, and found that many problems arose in their relationships after poor sleep habits, including more negative feelings, more conflict and less ability to manage conflict.

Heartless: Ghanaian footballer John Paintsil arrested for stabbing his wife in the eye



31 year old Black Stars of Ghana defender John Paintsil has been arrested for stabbing his wife in the eye. 
According to Greater Accra Police, Paintsil stabbed his wife after a quarrel over money. The wife, Richlove Paintsil, jumped the wall of their home into their neighbors home to escape the assault. John allegedly followed her into the neighbours house and assaulted the people who tried to stop him from hitting his wife.  Paintsil was later picked up by the police after neighbours called them .He is being held for assault and causing harm.  Paintsil was part of the Ghana Black Stars team that came fourth in the just concluded AFCON 2013.

Uche Jombo Rodriguez Opens Up On Recent Eye Surgery



"As a child, I had an accident while playing with an iron hanger as a gun and it accidentally got into my right eye. I had surgery then abroad, at the age of 9. This new surgery is more of cleaning and keeping up to date with the best eye surgery, when it was found out that it wasn't properly done the first time, and presently the doctors are correcting it"
