Ese Walter Responds to Critics! The Past Few Weeks Has 'Killed' Me

The past week has ‘killed’ me. It has stripped me of whatever ‘self-importance’ I nursed in the corners of my mind. It has broken me and opened me up to my real self. It has brought me to a deeper level of self-awareness, one I am most grateful for.

When I sat with my MacBook to type my last blog, I never imagined it would generate the kind of attention it did and continues to. I have one last thing to say on this issue before I lay it to rest and move on. (I also hope others can move on too, we have too much going on in this Country to continue to peddle one for longer than necessary.)

Charley Boy's daughter scammed By 3 Men Within Few Months

The area fatha, Charles Oputa aka Charley Boy, is not a happy man at the moment. His expectations for his daughter has not been met with regards to her relationship with Naija men. Within short intervals, the young lady has dated and broke up with three different guys. But what is the matter?

See the note Charley Boy wrote to Single Ladies below:

"All the single ladies reading this, chin-up and give your good self a thumb up. Nothing doest thou. Last week I had a father/daughter discussion with my Princess. I could feel the frustration in her tone as we spoke about different issues. When I asked about her boyfriend she gave me a very long and irritated “Naija babe” hiss, she aired out her frustrations with this whole dating business.

'After dating him for a few years, I asked Charly Boy to marry me or I would leave' - Lady Di

Below is what she said during a recent interview sent exclusively to me...
I dated Charles for a few years before I proposed to him to marry me, else I would leave. He was getting too comfortable with just dating me because marriage wasn’t really on his mind. You know, he hasn’t been lucky in that department. During my first visit to Nigeria, I met his wonderful family and it was clear he was coming from a very strict Christian background. His family was a very spiritual one with high sense of morality and values, there was no way some of that wouldn’t have robbed off on Charles. I just fell in love with him and his close nit family. Since then, they have been ever so kind and loving to me. I just thank God.
I love her. I think women should start giving ultimatums to their men...especially if they are of marriageable age. John Legend's fiancee Christine Teigen just gave him an ultimatum. Marry me or I'm done. Lol. See more from the interview after the Break..

Nigeria has few friends in Africa (My Experience) – David Mark

Senate President David Mark has said his experience in South Africa during the Nations Cup final has shown that Nigeria has only few friends on the African Continent.

Mark led the Federal Government’s delegation to South Africa to spur Super Eagles to victory in their encounter with Burkina Faso in the final match of the soccer competition.
Speaking at plenary yesterday during a debate on a motion by Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and 107 others, on Nigeria’s Outing at the AFCON 2013, Mark noted that very few people from other African countries wanted Nigeria to win the trophy.
