Chai: Alhaja Banker Nabbed For Stealing N12M





The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday October 23, 2013 arraigned a banker, Yagana Ibrahim Bukar before Justice Fatu Riman of the Federal High Court Kano on 10-count charge bordering on money laundering and theft.

The accused is said to have abused her position as account officer at Sky Bank Plc and stole N12, 626, 250 of depositors'fund. She allegedly perpetrated the scam by posting the sum into three Sky Bank accounts owned by her family members- Hajja Fanna, her sister; Grema Ibrahim Bukar, her brother and her child, Ummu Kulthum.

Housewife nabbed Stealing Meat From Neighbour’s Pot



A housewife in Sapele, Delta State, identified as Oghenero (surname withheld), reportedly got her fingers burnt yesterday, when she allegedly experimented with steal an item of meat from a neighbour's soup pot.

It had been reliably gathered that the lady, a mother of three, gained use of the soup after the neighbour who had been preparing it left it on the fire unattended and went into her room to obtain her GSM phone that was ringing.

This drama just unfolded on twitter. Joy Bewaji is a writer and publicist. She claims Makosi, an Abuja based presenter has released her book, without her permission. According to her, Makosi begged her to make her a star, so they agreed on a book. Joy wrote the book for two months and after presenting it to Makosi, Joy said she rubbished it and said she didn't like it. Now Makosi just launched a book in Abuja, the same book. GayMan Beaten & Arrested In Ogun State For Stealing His Gay Patner Pen-is (photo)



The incident happened at 1 Kotodayo in the Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota after Sadiq’s friend, Ibrahim (surname withheld), allegedly raised the alarm declaring that his male organ had disappeared.
According to Ibrahim, who was seen Unclad before some men, Sadiq had paid him a visit last night and deep into the night, he began to have s*x with him.

When P.M.NEWS visited the scene, Ibrahim’s joystick was of normal size, but he was making efforts to make it turgid as a proof that it was fully restored.

Ibrahim, who is also a squatter in the house, alleged that it was the first time Sadiq would be visiting him. Though they have been friends for some time now, Ibrahim said he never knew his friend was gay until last night.

10-Year-Old Boy Nabbed In Jigawa For Stealing ₦0.5 Million




A 10-year-old boy (name withheld) has been arrested by the Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over alleged theft of N500,000.

Mr Muhammad Gidado, the NSCDC Commandant in the state, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Thursday that the suspect was arrested on Wednesday in Kiyawa Local Government area of the state.

Bags torn apart, Padlocks destroyed: Passengers allege stealing of luggage at Lagos airport




The syndicated pilferage at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, is becoming worse as passengers now complain of missing luggage on arrival at the airport.

Blame over loss of baggage has been put at the doorsteps of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc and the Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited, whose workers were alleged to be culpable.

Efforts to get reaction of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) failed as at press time.
The stealing is fast taking the joy out of travel as many passengers last week complained of luggage loss. The situation could also be put at the doorsteps of FAAN, which primary duty is to ensure security at the airports.

Housemaid jailed 28 years for stealing N35m jewellery



A housemaid, Mary John, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for stealing her mistress’ jewellery estimated at N35m. The 30-year-old woman slumped moments after hearing the sentence, hitting her head against the carpeted surface of the court room. The impact shook the walls of the court room, but she was quickly resuscitated and carried out by prison warders. The convict had been arraigned since September 2012 on four counts of conspiracy, entry, breaking and stealing.
Her mistress, Mrs. Esohe Kadiri, a lawyer, said she stole wristwatches valued at N9m, bangles and bracelets worth N10m, diamond set worth N8m, rings worth N3m, chains and pendants worth N5m, and a camera priced at N100, 000, which all totalled N35, 100,000.The theft was said to have occurred in July 2012 at her residence in Victoria Garden City, Ajah. Kadiri, in her evidence before the court said John took advantage of her travel outside the country to perpetrate the theft.

One question.. why would they steal palm oil?? well it’s obvious that they need it to prepare food since poverty has embraced our beloved country to an unimaginable extent…  It’s quite shocking to see that Ghana which was the Most promising Country in Africa with lots of Investment coming from all over the world has now been reduced in this condition within a mere 4yrs time frame..
This is Gargantuanly ridiculous indeed and something must be done about it fast, We don’t like seeing our mothers in these situation koraaa!!

Man Went To Church For Spiritual Help But End Up Stealing Church Offerings (lol)



A 39-year old man, Stephen Abiodun who went to a Celestial Church of Christ, Egan parish, Lagos to seek spiritual deliverance has ended up in prison after he stole the church offering.

He was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment without an option of fine at Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court Lagos on a three-count charge for felony, breaking and entering and stealing...

He was jailed after he pleaded guilty before the presiding Magistrate, Mr P. E. Nwaka and admitted that he broke a box containing the church offering money and stole N190,000. He also told the court he did so with two of his friends now at large because they were indebted and wanted to pay those debts.

Federal High Court remands ‘Spirit’ in prison for stealing N20m





GUSAU — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday, arraigned one Mohammed Yusuf Dabo before Justice Zainab Abubakar of the Federal High Court, Gusau, Zamfara State on 11-count charge of obtaining N20 million under false pretence and forgery.

Dabo is said to have defrauded one Ya’u Mohammed of N20 million in a classic Advance Fee fraud scheme.

The fraudster, posing as a spirit named ‘Asmau’, based in Niger Republic, convinced his victim into believing that the mystery female voice had powers to establish schools and mosques to propagate Islam but needed a human vessel through which this could be achieved.

Man resorts to Stealing Car to rush pregnant girlfriend to hospital



A pregnant woman in-labor drove herself to the hospital as her boyfriend 31-year-old Robert Boudreaux from Deltona Florida does not have a license to drive a vehicle. 

On the way to the hospital the girlfriend's car ran out of gas so the couple walked several miles. After the 22-year-old girlfriend began to feel dehydrated and complained that she was bleeding, Boudreaux came up with a plan, instead of calling 911 or a cab, Boudreaux stopped a passing car and asked the driver to take them to the hospital but the driver refused to take them.

Security guard Gets 1 yr for stealing diesel from generator





An Abuja Magistrates’ Court on yesterday convicted and sentenced Arebun Douglas, a security guard with Fidelity Bank Plc, Wuse 2, Abuja to one year imprisonment for stealing over 400 litres of diesel. .
The Senior Magistrate, Mr Shuaibu Ahmed, convicted Douglas, after he pleaded guilty to stealing the diesel from the bank’s generator set. Ahmed, however, gave Douglas an option to pay a fine of N5, 000.
The magistrate warned the convict to stay away from crimes. Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Mr. David Udeh, had told the court that a staff of the bank, Mr John Okoro, reported the case to the Wuse Divisional police station on April 17, 2013.
According to Udeh the convict stole over of 400 litres of diesel, valued at N58,000 from the generator. He said that during police investigation, the convict confessed to stealing the diesel from the same generator more than six times.

Hungry Man gets 6 months jail for stealing two Sweets



Delvis Rodriguez-Ramos is a 21 year old homeless man who was very hungry. He walked into an Ocala store, located in Florida, and took a Twix and a Snickers bars.

An employee noticed the candy missing and he accused the homeless Rodriguez-Ramos of taking the candy. At first Rodriguez-Ramos denied taking anything, but then his guilty conscience made him return to the store and confess to taking Twix and Snickers bars which is worth about $2.

MAN FINED FOR STEALING ANIMAL SPERM



Some people get their hands on strange itemswhether legal or not.  An Illinois man pleaded guilty to illegallyobtaining semen from deer worth $55,000.   The semen came from a buck in East Texas, which he knew had been illegally transported from a source outside the state.  U.S. Attorney John M. Bales said that the semen came from a buck in East Texas, and Raymond Favero knew it had been illegally transported from out of state. The 55 year old man from Illinois, entered his guilty plea in federal court in Tyler.  If the court accepts his guilty plea deal, Favero will be placed on probation for five years, will get a fine of $150,000 on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Reward Fund and will be ordered to pay $50,000 in restitution to Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
