Question of The Day: Who Suffers More After A Break-Up- The Man or The Woman?

As ridiculous as it might sound, you will find worse things in life than death. If you've ever gone via a separation before, you'd agree totally that the knowledge thereafter is obviously hellish especially when you've invested a lot of emotion, time, effort and resources in the relationship.

It becomes even more excruciating if what you get in return for your investment is heartbreak. So, as usual, opinions were sampled from Nigerians to bare their minds on who ends up the most hurt after a break up. Roll with me.

Dearest Omo Oodua readers: My brother is still friends with my ex, is it ok?

I dated one of my brother's best friends for a year and two months and broke up with him just last November. My ex has moved on and so have I but what pisses me off right now is that my brother is still friends with this dude. I'm angry at that because our relationship ended because his friend cheated on me with someone in our inner circle.

Vector faces Career threatening Issues: Arrested twice by his label

One of Nigeria's foremost rappers Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper is currently at war with his label, YSG Ent - recently discovered to be a division Young Shall Grow Motors company, led by Obiora Obianodo,  the first son of  Chief Vincent Obianodo, the MD of Young Shall Grow Motors Ltd.

The disagreement between Vector and his label started a few months back after the rapper complained about his progress-rate and the label's nonchalant attitude towards his career and simply suggested more professional hands be employed to help his career, which the label took as a threat, and when they refused to heed to his suggestions, Vector hired hands he was paying personally.

Or-ál S-éx, African Diasporás and Issues Arising

Most s-éxually active people in the United States participate in or-ál s-éx. Matter-of-factly, to many, orá-l s-éx is more pléasurable than genital penetrátion. In America, different slangs have now been coined for or-ál s-éx – Bl-ów Jób, Gó-Dówn-Sóuth, Go-Dówn, G-ét-A-H-éad, 69-P-ósition and the list goes on. For people who value medical terminólogy, Cúnnilingus identifies or-ál s-éx performed on females while fellatió identifies orá-l sé-x performed on males.

For the most part, majority of Africans (especially African men) shun or-ál s-éx either for religious, cultural or traditional reasons. The few that participate in it'll deny it vehemently in public areas because they notice it as a disdainful “girly-man” s-éxual activity. A genuine man should have the ability to give a lady the same pléasure using his sé-x ó-rgan, they will argue. In Nigeria for instance, you can find different d-énigrating words for describing men that pérform or-ál s-éx on womén.

Jesse Jagz disowns record label Chocolate City, issues public statement

The talented rapper released a statement last night saying he has left his record label, Chocolate City. I hear the statement caught everyone at Chocolate City, where his brother M.I is a Vice President, by surprise. Jesse and Chocolate City have been having issues for a while but no one really expected him to make it public. I also hear he left because he wasn't happy about the way they were handling his music career. See his press statement below...
To whom it may concern:
I, Jesse Garba Abaga (also known as “Jesse Jagz”) an artist formerly signed to Chocolate City Music label hereby wishes to notify my fans and the general public about my voluntary exit from the label.
After my initial two year contractual agreement with Chocolate City, I do not wish to renew my contract with them and as such have proceeded to continue my music career with my new team at Jesse Jagz Nation. I still maintain a cordial relationship with the management of Chocolate City and my former label mates and I wish them the best in all their future endeavors. Any further information will be passed across through my publicist but until then, have a good day. Look out for my sophomore album JagZNation Vol. 1 coming out in July 2013.
All for the best, Jesse Jagz.

"TB Joshua rescued me from alcohol, drugs and mental issues' - actor Hanks Anuku

The actor and former addict tells how TB Joshua rescued him from alcohol, drugs and the mental problems that plagued him for many years in a recent interview. Hanks battled alcohol and drug addiction for years and his mental state deteriorated over time. The former SA to Delta governor, Uduaghan, who has since relocated to Ghana tells his story...
"Yes I got my healing through TB Joshua. It is our Lord's doing. I never believev in miracles until this happened to me. I was having issues with mentality for over seven years, you will notice I have not been that frequent in movies for long. Even when I was special assistant to our dear governor, I was not in a good state of mind and this affected my work in the government before I was advised to seek for solution in Ghana. I spent so much money visiting hospitals, orthodox and unorthodox doctors without positive result. Until I was introduced to TB Joshua. I was only watching his TV programme in Ghana and was healed. I put my faith into it just like the woman with the issue of blood and knew that I would be healed and I got my healing. I am now a mentally stable man. I have dropped drinking and smoking habit, glory be to God."
