Brymo Disses ‘Choc City'Record Label Again It appears things continue to
be bitter between Brymo & his ex-label, Choc City. The talented
vocalist released his latest album on iTunes today since departing Choc
City under acrimonious circumstances earlier this year. He might
nevertheless be under contract though as it appears his former label
could have somehow intervened his latest release if his latest tweet is

Agbani Darego talks about her AD label, says she designed the trademark herself
When asked if she designs her products herself, the former Miss World turned fashion entrepreneur said"
Yes I do and I also have a team of designers I work with. The concepts of my label are all mine. The sketches are mine. The designers just fine tune what I have created."
Asked about what inspired her decision to go into fashion, she said
"I have been working on different concept of lines before I decided to go into denim line because when I graduated from college, and I wanted to do something else, I asked myself what's next for Agbani? So, I chose fashion because it is the only thing that I wanted to do. I wanted something the masses could wear, at the same time, something profitable.

Vector faces Career threatening Issues: Arrested twice by his label
One of Nigeria's foremost rappers Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper is currently at war with his label, YSG Ent - recently discovered to be a division Young Shall Grow Motors company, led by Obiora Obianodo, the first son of Chief Vincent Obianodo, the MD of Young Shall Grow Motors Ltd.
The disagreement between Vector and his label started a few months back after the rapper complained about his progress-rate and the label's nonchalant attitude towards his career and simply suggested more professional hands be employed to help his career, which the label took as a threat, and when they refused to heed to his suggestions, Vector hired hands he was paying personally.

YMCMB BOSS "BIRDMAN" welcomes Paris Hilton to his music label
Lil Wayne confirmed yesterday that he has signed the 32-year-old heiress to his label, Young Money Entertainment. Paris will release new music this summer under the label. Paris has been rolling with the Cash Money crew for a while now. She released a song with Wayne in December 2012 titled "Last Night," and also appeared in the Rich Gang's video for "Tapout," alongside Cash Money all-stars Lil Wayne, Birdman, Mack Maine and Nicki Minaj.

D'banj signed Olamide to his record label, DB Records?
There have been rumours that D'banj has signed Olamide to his record label DB Records, but no official confirmation...well, until now. D'banj's younger brother, Kay Switch just welcomed Olamide to the family. Baddo is Olamide's nick name. The music star is currently in Atlanta with D'banj. They will perform at a show today at AYVA Centre in Houston.

Kid Cudi has announced he is no longer on Kanye's record label, G.O.O.D Music.
Kid Cudi tells Power 106 in LA; “I’m no longer on G.O.O.D. Music. This is just from a business standpoint. There’s no beef. There’s no problems with anybody on the label. It’s all love. That don’t mean I’m not gonna be making music with them. It just means that lil’ baby with that dress on (the G.O.O.D Music logo) ain’t gonna be on my album.”

Wizkid to return to former music label, EME
If everything goes according to plan, Wizkid will soon be returning to his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.
"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source saidI hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid's international deals. Jesse Jagz disowns record label Chocolate City, issues public statement
The talented rapper released a statement last night saying he has left his record label, Chocolate City. I hear the statement caught everyone at Chocolate City, where his brother M.I is a Vice President, by surprise. Jesse and Chocolate City have been having issues for a while but no one really expected him to make it public. I also hear he left because he wasn't happy about the way they were handling his music career. See his press statement below...
To whom it may concern:
I, Jesse Garba Abaga (also known as “Jesse Jagz”) an artist formerly signed to Chocolate City Music label hereby wishes to notify my fans and the general public about my voluntary exit from the label.
After my initial two year contractual agreement with Chocolate City, I do not wish to renew my contract with them and as such have proceeded to continue my music career with my new team at Jesse Jagz Nation. I still maintain a cordial relationship with the management of Chocolate City and my former label mates and I wish them the best in all their future endeavors.
