Photo: Freed Al Mustapha visits TB Joshua

Al-Mustapha was released yesterday Friday July 12th after many years in prison, and his first port of call after his release was T.B Joshua's place.

T.B Joshua explains why Al-Mustapha visited him first:
I got to know him many years ago when a petition was addressed to General Bamaiyi who was the then Chairman of the NDLEA. As you know, several efforts had been made by my detractors to bring me and my ministry down. One of those efforts was that petition. I was arrested for investigation and it was later discovered that it was a tissue of lies. I spent nine days with them for investigation and they found the whole thing to be a fabrication. From there, I was taken to Aso Rock (City of Power) to see the president. It was there that I met Mustapha.

See Mercy Johnson's N15million Lexus GX 460 + visits OJB

Her husband, Prince Odi Okojie, bought her the SUV a few weeks back. Peep the plate number. Meanwhile Mercy Johnson was spotted at OJB's Gbaja residence this afternoon. Heard she made a generous donation to the ailing music producer but didn't want her photos taken. So my pap took a photo of her car instead.  Also heard that so far OJB has only been able to raise N3million. Don Jazzy, Ruggedman and Mercy Johnson Okojie are the only well known celebs that have donated so far. Though I hear P-Square and their brother Jude Okoye are planning to pay him a visit soon. I'm kinda surprised it's taking this long to raise this money. I can't tell his colleagues what to do with their money, but c'mon guys! C'mon!

Obama To Visit Nigeria May 28

• Security, economy and bilateral relations top agendaAt last the President of the United States, Barack Obama, would visit Nigeria on 28 May, 2013, as part of a three-nation tour of Africa, ending speculation of the Obama scorn with the flawed elections in 2007 that brought Umaru Yar’Adua to the Presidency.

Seen as long overdue but coming at a time when security is the number one item on the country’s agenda, the 44th President of the United States is expected to parley with President Jonathan on how to tackle the niggling problems of insecurity, the economy and trade relations between both nations. President Obama would be interested in hearing President’s Jonathan’s plan to control the Boko Haram insurgents who he plans to offered amnesty, even as the sect continues to slay hundreds in their quest to end western education in the country apart from kidnapping foreigners for ransom.

Nobody Is Above The Law, Obasanjo Says As He Visits FRSC To Pick Up Driver’s Licence

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has declared that nobody is above the law in the collective drive to ensure compliance with traffic rules and regulations in Nigeria.Speaking after processing his driver’s license at the Abuja national headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Obasanjo said, “If I have to drive, I must have a valid driver’s license like others. That informed my visit. We should note that the driver’s licence serves other purposes beyond driving of a vehicle and also useful outside the country such as certification of somebody’s identity.”

He added, “Anybody who wants to be law abiding must go through this process because you cannot be bigger than the law, no matter your political position or social status. You must pass through this process unless you are not ready to be law abiding”.
