Cynthia Osokogu’s murder: Court Releases Pharmacists
The two pharmacists arrested in connection with the July 22nd murder of Cynthia Osokogu have been released unconditionally by a court in Lagos. Maduakor Chukwunonso and Orji Osita (pictured above) who are pharmacists at Oxpharm Pharmacy where the drugs used in sedating Cynthia was bought, were released based on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution.
The Lagos High court ruled that “there was no evidence where the pharmacists had an agreement with the first and second defendants to kill the late Ms Osokogu."

A member of the lower House of the National Assembly representing Ife Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has come out to defend his decision to take a new wife, Oyebanke Oyelami, a final year student of political science from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State after waiting for a while.
The young and dynamic legislator who was a movie actor, producer, auto dealer, hotelier and an accountant at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC before joining politics recently stepped out with beautiful Oyebanke, the reigning Miss Osun State and this has started generating controversy in some quarters as some bad belles have said the man dumped his first wife for the beauty queen.
According to him in a recent chat with your darling magazine, National Enquirer, “there are things people don`t know and instead of minding their business, they meddle into other people`s privacy, as a matter of fact, I recognize the fact that am a public figure by my present position as a lawmaker but I also know that some facts must be put straight for future purposes”, he stressed.
Speaking further, the lawmaker who has been adjudged as one of the best in South West going by his impressive track records and various projects that have touched many lives has this to say, “naturally it is not in my habit to discuss my family especially my wife who bore me my grown up kids but just for the records, people need to know that my wife has left me ever before I got elected into the federal house of representatives and I`ve since given her the benefit of doubt for reconciliation but all were to no avail, hence my decision to move ahead and not without the consent of my children”, he explained.
Answering question on the interest in the new liaison, the lawmaker who has just been given a chieftaincy title of Bobagunwa of Ila Orangun by the royal father, Oba Bolarinwa said what interest him in his new wife is that, she is the first ever lady that will call his bluff despite his status, “can you believe that, it took me a while to chase this lady, I have never her rare type before, that’s why I didn't waste any time when she eventually gave me the chance because I need to proof to her that, I mean serious business”, he told.
The duo recently had an introduction and will be walking down the aisle very soon.

It's over for Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons.
"Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons have officially separated after 5½ years," the actor's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. "Though never married, they have one child together, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, who is 3½ years old."
"There have been quite a few hurtful rumors circulating. The truth is Djimon + I have been separated for some time," Simmons Tweeted Wednesday. "We have remained happy, loving, co-parenting friends + family. We all have much to be thankful for."
The Amistad star, 48, first met Simmons, 37, now the president and creative director for JustFab, in 2007, following her split from husband Russell Simmons. She later said they were "kind of" engaged.
In 2009, they announced the arrival of their son, their first child together. Simmons also has daughters Ming, 12, and Aoki, 10, with her ex-husband.

Cocaine in Unthinkable Packages
Nigerians were recently stunned when some neatly packed and appetising roasted chickens, which had arrived the country from Brazil, aboard a Turkish Airline flight from Sao Paulo, were discovered to contain hard drugs. The drugs were concealed in the roasted chickens, with the intention to fool security officials. It was a new way drug traffickers devised to pull the wool on the eyes of security personnel at the airport and bring in hard drugs.
The kingpin of the drugs syndicate, Mr. Vincent Chegini Chinweuwa, had revealed that it took three days to package the roasted chickens for onward transmission to Nigeria, adding: “I was confident that the drug will not be detected. I’m surprised I’ve been caught.” A conservative estimate of the street value of the drugs, which was impounded, was put at about N24 million.
Airport Commandant of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, Mr. Hamza Umar, had said of this: “We discovered 2.655kg of cocaine inside roasted chickens. It is a remarkable seizure because no one would have imagined cocaine worth several millions inside roasted chickens.”
Investigation revealed that drug traffickers have, indeed, devised various new ways to bring in their merchant of death into the country. Sometimes, they are caught. Some other times, they succeed in beating the security dragnet at the airports and borders.
Speaking on this, Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, said: “Drug barons are becoming more and more sophisticated in drug concealment, as recent discoveries show. The essence of drug concealment is to avoid detection and seizure. In order to prevent huge financial losses, arrests and prosecution, drug barons go the extra mile in hiding their drugs.

I'm a 22 year old female. I live with my step father, my mum and my step brother who is 23 years old.
We've always treated each other like blood siblings, or should I say I pretended to treat him like that, because I don't have brotherly love for him. I'm in love with him (my step brother).
