15 Strange Facts About Kissing

#15 Hormones abound
Did you know that open-mouth kissing allows for the transfer of hormones from a man to a woman? Mucus membranes in the mouth are permeable to hormones like testosterone, which a man can introduce into a woman’s mouth through kissing. The testosterone then increases arousal in the woman, which leads to higher chances of s-ex!

#14 Make or break
Remember the scene in “27 Dresses” where Katherine Heigl’s character finally kisses her crush/boss and she says it just doesn’t feel right? That’s because kissing is the ultimate “mate assessment tool” that allows us to find a partner who we are genetically compatible with. That’s why first kisses can make or break a relationship. Biology can determine whether two people are compatible or not.

The Top 10 Lies Women Tell Men

Ah, women. So mysterious! So enigmatic! We have more layers than an onion. And men, poor, poor men. Left to figure us out all on their own.
Sorry! We don’t mean to be confusing. We just are. While many of us strive to be honest, truthful, and forthright, we do not always tell the truth. That is the truth. Sometimes (gasp!), we lie. Most of the time, though, these are little white lies, half-truths told to keep the peace. Other times, our lies are a little bigger — say, for example, when the subject is sex. Here’s a cheat sheet of the mistruths that are most likely to come out of a woman’s mouth, and what men can learn about the lies, the sweet little lies, that women tell.

My Husband Does Not Mind Me Playing S-éxual Roles - Oge Okoye-Duru

Oge Okoye-Duru is undoubtedly a success story in the Nigerian movie industry. The mother of two speaks on a number of issues bordering on her life and the movie industry in general.
Excerpts:
With some Nollywood practitioners taking up roles that will expose their bodies, can Oge Okoye find herself in this situation?
Never! No amount of money is worth your moral value. I am a mother and a mentor to some people, the emerging generation; I can’t take up a role that will involve nudity because of these people that look up to me and because of our society. But I could do other sensual roles, but for nudity, I wouldn’t even dare it.

A few days after Lil Wayne refused to properly apologize to the family of civil rights icon, Emmett Till (Google who ET was) for using his name to describe rough s-ex in a rap lyric, Mountain Dew has dropped him as one of their spokesperson.

The family of Emmett Till asked Lil Wayne for a public apology back in February after the remix for Future'sKarate Chop leaked online containing the lyric, "I'mma beat the p***y up like Emmett Till"

Lil Wayne ignored Till's family until earlier this week when they threatened to put pressure on Mountain Dew and Weezy's other sponsors to drop him.

Exclusive: Mike Adenuga Gets Angry, walks out on Glo staff at birthday bash

This happened last night Friday May 3rd at Mike Adenuga Tower on Adeola Odeku street in Victoria Island. Hundreds of staff of telecoms giant Globacom gathered at the lounge situated on the ground floor of the office building to celebrate with their chairman after a text message was passed round the office on Thursday afternoon inviting staff to a birthday bash with him. Mike Adenuga turned 60 on Monday April 29th.

Okey Bakassi was there as the MC, the DJ was already playing music, drinks passed round while people waited for the billionaire businessman to arrive. Mike Adenuga eventually showed up in his Range Rover bullet proof SUV around 8pm. He graciously greeted people at the entrance of the lounge but stopped in his tracks as people started cheering loudly as he entered the lounge.

The haling was so loud and probably too much for Adenuga that he immediately turned around and left the lounge. He got into his car and left with his security detail. He never came back.

Glo staff waited for a few hours and eventually left when they realized their chairman was not coming back. Lesson learnt: Mike Adenuga doesn't appreciate unnecessary famzing! :-)

Spot Out Gay

From left: Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, and Liam Payne.

Lance Bass was a member of popular boy-band N'Sync and hid his homosexuality for years until the band disbanded. He knew coming out as gay would ruin N'Sync's success because of their massive female fans so he kept his secret to himself and never even told his band mates.

Lance feels the same thing is happening with English-Irish pop boy band, One Direction. He thinks at least one of them is gay. Looking at the pic above which of them do you think might be gay?

Solomon Akiyesi's first wife, Ezinne, finally speaks

Ezinne is Solomon Akiyesi's first wife and hasn't said anything since this messy drama started on Saturday April 13th when the actor's second wife, Lilian Akiyesi, disrupted his wedding to another woman in Lagos. Ezinne is finally responding after Solomon released his own side of the story, calling Ezinne a liar and a womb-less woman who destroyed her womb by having an abortion in the early 90's. Find Ezinne's interview below...
Ezinne why have you decided to respond to your estranged husband Solomon?
It grieves my heart to actually give a mental man publicity. However in our culture we believe in responding to accusations or else you will be deemed guilty. Contrary to what our "jury" thinks, I did not want to have any part in this whole messy saga. The publishing of my wedding photos was done by a few of my concerned friends who are involved and felt that wife # 2 had no business crying wolf when she succeeded in snatching a man from a quiet, well mannered woman that I am.

Chai: 95 Per Cent Of Nigerian Police Officers Fail Intelligence Test

Statistics seem to have finally proven what many citizens had suspected all along that many Nigerian police officers are incapable of passing a standard intelligence gathering assessment test.
Reports say out of the 5,000 police officers assessed for intelligence gathering, only 266 qualified.
According to the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Force Intelligence Bureau Solomon Arase: “Not every police officer can be an intelligence officer. After we carried out assessment test on the officers on ground, we discovered that a lot of them have to go.”
Arase said this in Benin, the Edo state capital yesterday at the inauguration of Zone ‘5’ Intelligence Bureau Ultra modern office complex built by W/ASP Patience Omokaro and her officers through community assistance.
“Intelligence is knowledge-based. If you don’t have the knowledge, you can’t be an intelligent officer,” Arase added.

IBORI UPDATE: 13-yr jail term: UK court throws out Ibori’s appeal

The British Royal Court of Justice on the Strand in London yesterday rejected an appeal by former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, to have his 13-year jail term for money laundering slashed.
Two justices of the appellate court dismissed Ibori’s appeal for want of merit. On April 2012, a Southwark Crown Court in South London jailed Ibori for 13 years for embezzling more than $250 million from the treasury of the Delta State between 1999 and 2007 when he served as governor.
Just like when he was sentenced, news agency said a retinue of his supporters thronged the courthouse wearing Tshirts calling for his freedom.
