Ado‑Ekiti— A bricklayer, Mr Adewale Omole, has abandoned his wife in the hospital after he heard that she was expecting triplets. He did not even wait for the woman to give birth before he vanished.

Narrating her story, the wife, Mrs Abosede Omole, who already had two children, said her husband abandoned her and the babies. She said her husband started behaving strange after she went for a scan in Lagos where she was told that she was expecting triplets.

Barbaric act: Angry mob forces gay couple ‘to have S-EX in public place in Rivers

Homosexuals in Nigeria have continued to suffer discrimination and brutality which escalated following the criminalization of same sex relationships.  A gay couple in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers, were allegedly forced to have sex in public while residents watched and filmed the act.
The incident is believed to have occurred on January 28.

There was a mild drama at the Ojodu Police Division, Lagos State on Saturday over the arrest of a woman, Mrs. Joy Idenyi, by two policemen from the Bauchi State Police Command.

Idenyi’s arrest was prompted by a warrant from a Bauchi Magistrate’s Court B for the alleged abduction of her niece, Patience Joseph. Patience’s father, Joseph, had reportedly made an application to that effect.

Only in Naija: Aviation minister Oduah bars SSS operatives from international airports

Operatives of the State Security Service have been directed by the Ministry of Aviation to stay away from all the nation’s international airports.  The order, which was communicated to the SSS leadership a few weeks ago, was said to have shocked the operatives.  It was further gathered that the directive by the ministry, which is headed by Ms Stella Oduah, might affect the ability of the SSS to perform its duties of preventing, detecting, and investigating threats of espionage, subversion, sabotage and terrorist activities, especially at the airports.

Yoruba actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has broken her silence on why she has not been entertaining interviews and reacting to issues pertaining to her career of late, saying that it was a deliberate decision and her management made to stay out of media glare for the time being.   Funke, who is largely known as Jenifa endeared herself to many home video viewers with her popular movie, Jenifa, which opened a new chapter in her life and earned her mouth-watering endorsements.  In a brief chat with E recently, Funke said “I am working on new projects now and I don’t want to be in the media for the wrong reasons or for the fun of it. When I am done with the projects, I will talk about them and probably hold a press conference to clear the air on some issues,”she said.

Nigerian superstar, Peter Okoye of PSquare in a recently interview reveals that Psquare would not go solo and how they share their income. He lso explained how they share their income:

Peter said:

    Never! We are happy and we share 50-50 of everything. If we do an album now and I am responsible for all the jobs, Paul would still get his 50 per cent. Sometimes, I would write a song and sing the first verse. Paul's voice may not be good for that second verse but you won't be able to tell the difference. The only person who may push us to go solo is our mother and that is not going to be possible.

Thelma Okhaz denies lightening her skin , claims she'll never bleach

In a video which she posted herself on Youtube, actress Thelma Okhaz denied bleaching her skin and  explains that the photos which went viral online many days back were pics she took for a movie. (See here). Thelma says she didn't bleach and will never bleach.

"It had to do with some of the pictures I took recently. Actually I did a film beginning of November. The owner of the film called me and said he needed some recent pictures. He said he wanted me looking flashy and all that. Something that can catch people's mind and eyes. So I took those pictures and I put it up on Facebook and Twitter, that was all. The next thing (it was on all the blogs) and people were hating me. I felt bad because it was based on lies. I'm not angry at people that were hating me because it was based on what they were given that they are acting on. I didn't bleach, I will never bleach, I will always be myself." Thelma says in the video

I have dated my fiance for 5years now. Whenever I ask him about our marriage plans, he keeps telling me he doesn't have enough money for the wedding. This person earns 170k monthly while I earn 100k. I told him I possess some cash I produced from a supply, can't we utilize it for the marriage? He explained its okay by him. His mother called me from Benin a week ago and said the son told him about our marriage arrangement, that she's mapped out the marriage expenses.

To my greatest surprise she gave me an amount I can't really explain. I have 3milion on me while she said everything will surely cost 4million both for the original and white wedding. my wedding gown is not included, his suit is not included. Should I forget this man and move on with my life or release all the money I have for the marriage? I'm troubled at the moment. I'm so confused. Please advise

Owens eloped with 33-year old postal worker Rachel Snider at a courthouse in Newhall, California on January 23. Apparently, Rachel has recently seen enough. She's packed her belongings, left California and is seeking to get rid of the marriage.Snider told TMZ that the 40-year old former NFL star only married her to secure a loan on a $2 million dollar crib he wanted in Sherman Oaks, California."I felt in love and now I'm betrayed and heartbroken.
