Yusuf Onimisi with twitter handle @Ciaxon, who was arrested by the SSS for tweeting pics of military operation during the Boko Haram prison break attempt on March 30th, started tweeting again yesterday thanking people because of their support but refused to express anything about his arrest.

The introduction and acceptance of Christianity in Yorùbá-dominated areas of Nigeria can be traced to the desires and efforts made by the Yorùbá slaves that were granted freedom from England and America after the abolition of slave trade in 1772. It will be recalled that in 1772, the Lord Chief Justice of England, Lord Mansfield, gave legal teeth to the abolition of slave trade and as a result of the historical judgment, Freetown and Liberia were founded. The two cities served as training grounds for many of the freed slaves who had come into contact with Christianity during their period of captivity. However, many of the recaptives managed to make their ways inland and to Abé̩òkúta; the present capital of Ògùn State between 1838 and 1842.

A drunk police with the Mopol 20 in Lagos identified as Tafa Mohammed was captured brutalizing two women after among the ladies refused to offer him fish to complete up his beer. Based on Sahara Reporters, the foodstuff seller had refused to offer fish alone except to those buying food with it, a policy that angered the alcohol reeking mobile policeman, Mr. Tafa.

By now you probably have heard of Half of a Yellow Sun, but no one has told you about the nudity and sex scenes, by the way it was artistically done. Thandie Newton came out of the bath tub naked with her two boobs standing at alert, Chiwetel and Thandie Newton had sex and there was another sex scene in the movie, again all were artistically done. The question is, can Nigerian actors ever go all the way in movies like these people did (remember Chiwetel and Lupita in 12 Years a Slave)?

Scandal" star Columbus Short has been thrown out of his house and his wife has filed for divorce ... after he allegedly put a knife to her throat last week and threatened to kill her and himself. According to a new restraining order -- obtained by TMZ -- Short got into it with his wife April 7 at their Chatsworth home, where she claims he came into her room intoxicated with a wine bottle in hand, acted like he was going to hit her with the bottle and then unloaded the wine on her.
