REUBEN ABATI is certainly one of the most famous names in Nigeria. A ferocious writer, he is currently the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria. Born on the 7th of November, 1965, he is set to turn 49 this year. Before working for the Presidency, he was formerly a columnist and Chairman of the Editorial Board of the Guardian, one of the very influential publications in the country. He was there for 10 years, from 2001 to 2011. Abati bagged First Class Honours from the University of Calabar where he studied Theatre Arts and he also won the Vice Chancellor's Prize for the Best Overall Graduating Student.

3 brothers today confessed to attacking and killing young cousins, 15 year old Pushpa (pictured left) and 14 year old Murti (right), have been found hanging from the tree on Wednesday May 28th. (Read the story here)

The crime provoked national outrage after it emerged that police in Katra village initially refused to investigate the girls' murder due to their low-caste status. Murti's dad has paid tribute to his daughter, saying she was a keen English student. Street artists have covered walls in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo with pictures which blame football’s governing body, FIFA, for exploiting Brazil and the local government for neglecting the needs of the poor. They share the belief that the US$11 billion which has been spent on the World Cup should have been used to improving transportation, healthcare, and education. Quote “It’s a good way to expose the country’s problems,” graffiti artist Pauo Ito told the Guardian. “If the government doesn’t want to expose these things it’s because they feel ashamed. If they feel ashamed by this they might take it more seriously – at least, that’s our intention.”

Normally I don't really like coming on here to find for people's opinion on issues similar to this, but when a buddy, almost such as for instance a brother called me to find for suggestions about this matter, I couldn't say a thing. I was literally speechless.

He met this beautiful looking lady about 3months ago. And they've been dating ever since. They both work in the same state. They've had se'x on different occasions. But until yesterday, she'd never sleep in his apartment. She came around night and couldn't return to her own apartment for the sake of the heavy downpour. So after the initial and second round of marathon se'x, they slept in each others arms. He woke up in the center of the night time and discovered the bed was wet. Like bed wetting wet! She woke up today and greeted him, removed the bed sheet, her panties, asked for his boxers and washed em all. After which she knelt down and apologized profusely.

 Alexx Ekubo: Although he was a cast in Lancelot Imasuen’s 2004 movie, ‘Sinners in the House’, nobody knew the 27-year-old until he emerged second in the 2010 Mr. Nigeria pageant. 

He has since become a regular face in movies directed by Desmond Elliot, who he describes as his brother and mentor. I just couldn’t take it anymore and thought it best that we went our separate ways. I guess the feeling was mutual because that was the same day I recovered my sanity and my personal cool.

A week ago, we saw this pic of Clarion Chukwura with Ibinabo Fiberesima and Teco Benson and we assumed that was well in Ibinabo/Clarion universe, but not quick people. According to Clarion, her difficulties with the AGN president still stands. She explained how a pic came to exist and her surprise at seeing it on the internet.

"When I got the award, I came and met my team, the Royal Arts Academy, and we all hugged and took pictures. As I was going back to my seat, Ibinabo got up and hugged me and beckoned the photographers to take our picture. As I stepped away, Rita Dominic also got up and hugged me and also asked the press photographers to take our pictures.

“When we got to the airport, Teco Benson came to me and said he wanted to minister to me and he also beckoned to her and she came close. I told Teco that I didn’t have anything against Ibinabo. This is an AGN issue. We should be real about the issue. The following day, somebody called me and told me about the picture. I was surprised,” Clarion tells Punch Nigeria
