Photo: New Mrs Kumuyi’s Wedding Outfit Vs A Deeper Life Member’s

kumuyi's wedding
Trust Nigerians to dissect anything, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Ministry’s son had his wedding last week, since then a lot of people have wondered on the whole ‘get-up’ of the bride which was yards away from what a typical Deeper life bride in Nigeria would wear and I’ve seen a couple. According to one of the ‘commenters’ on this funny but self explanatory picture which was posted on someone’s Facebook page;

“People have refused to live their own life but rather attach it to an apron of hypocritical philosophy and man made doctrine.I exonerate the dynamic Senior Kumuyi,I think it is the people that have refused to change,I respect Kumuyi and his teachings but the people he is teaching are not learning,it is a pity, religion should embrace freedom, that is what the bible said. It only warned that you should not use your liberty for evil,or take the grace for granted.”
Well that about says it all!

HOW DANGOTE PLANS TO BECOME THE WORLD’S RICHEST PERSON

In 2008, the names of Alhaji Aliko Dangote and a few other Nigerians appeared on the FORBES billionaires’ list. Dangote’s fortune was pegged at $3.3 billion. When the rankings were made a year later, his fortune dropped to $2.5 billion and plunged further to $2.1 billion the year after. By 2011, after he had taken Dangote Cement public, his fortune surged 557 per cent to $13.8 billion.

In 2012, he dropped to $11.2 billion, but rebounded at $20.1 billion this year. Since March, his fortune has jumped another 30 per cent. He is now the richest man in Africa and the 25th richest in the world. Dangote, whose cement manufacturing concern is on its way to becoming the largest in the world, has announced his plans to go into petroleum refining. He may well be on his way to becoming the No. 1 moneybags in the world. Or, what is he up to? HASSAN GIMBA AHMED writes:

60 thugs Hired By Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited and FAAN Clash At Lagos Airport(MMA2)

Thugs and hoodlums hired by Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, managers of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 have stormed the Lagos airport and caused a breach of peace, Nigerian aviation authorities alleged on Saturday, But Bi-Courtney reacted angrily and debunked the allegation.

The Murtala Muhammed domestic terminal: thugs clash today over billboards.
“They forcefully replaced the advertisement flex removed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria recently, because such advert displays constituted a breach in the concession agreement between the two organisations,” said Yakubu Dati General Manager, Corporation Communications at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.

Dati said the activities of the hoodlums resulted in unnecessary traffic bottleneck on the airport access road before FAAN security officials dispersed them, restored order in the affected part of airport and removed the advertisement flex.

Central Bank Of Nigeria Governor Sanusi And His S-éx Scandal

Once upon a time, news from my family in Nigeria centered on the dead or dying. Tired of all the negative news, I sent out a fatwa: give me news of deaths and risk instant death! My folks knew I didn’t mean literal death. They also knew the sharpness of my tongue. A family member once said (unfairly, I might add) that if I were goat meat, he would eat everything except my mouth!

I didn’t mind that ‘yabis’ because the avalanche of negative family news ceased... I remembered a family member recently and realised I hadn’t heard about her in ages. When I asked my mother, she said the woman had since passed away. “Why wasn’t I told?” I asked with mild indignation. My mother retorted: “I thought you didn’t want to hear news about death.” Touche! I can’t eat my cake and have it, can I?

Photo: See Kaffy shows off her Bikini b00bs after swimming ( LOOK)

For sometime now, I’ve been under the impression that Kaffy the dance queen is one of the few ladies who does not take delight in showing their “oranges”, but it appears I’m very very wrong.
But my worry is, does she really need to “push up” her boóbs even while in the pool?
Kaffy, what’s the point of doing push up here?

Dearest Ọmọ Oódua Readers: I'm 20 years old and pregnant for a married man

I am a 20 year old woman living in the UK and also studying here. My parents have been at war since I can remember and I have to rely on my siblings to take care of me, I am reluctant to ask them though as everyone works hard and times are difficult.
I have had my fair share of horrible boyfriends in the past few years, I have dated so many stingy men that would not give me a penny but I am usually not bothered about this as I don't date men because of their money. I have although since decided to remain single and just have the usual one night stand because I am tired of the constant heartbreak and pain. Until recently.

I recently got introduced to a married man and the initial plan was to have him spend on me, I didn't want to but as I was about to be kicked out of my flat for lack of payments I did what I had to. I wasn't going to go any further with him but he turned out to be really nice. I tried to cut contact with him but unfortunately he had fallen head over heels in love with me. If he doesn't see me or hear from me in an hour he becomes frantic and agitated. He tells all his friends here in the Uk about me, takes me to their houses and introduces me as his girlfriend.

Ladies: Check out list of Things You Should NEVER Say To Your Boyfriend, Under ANY Circumstance

1) "My ex did the exact same thing!"

Whether it's a desirable resemblance (they both always hold the door open) or a less desirable one (neither one showers often enough), your boyfriend never wants to hear that he's anything like your ex. Ever.

You don't want him to feel like you're always comparing the two of them, do you? Think about it: Do you really want him to imagine that he does other things just like your ex? Doubtful. Plus, he might think you're still hung up on your former flame.

Either way, a comment like this won't do much for his self-esteem. So the next time you experience boyfriend deja-vu, keep it to yourself.

2) "helen's pregnant ... shhhh"

Remember on Séx and the City when Carrie tells Aidan that Miranda's pregnant but that he can't tell Steve? Remember how upset Aidan was to hear the incriminating news? Your boyfriend doesn't want to hear information that could get him into trouble. And even if he does want to hear it, he really shouldn't.
Don't burden him with someone else's secret. And besides, if he does spill the beans, your friend is going to be mad at you, not him.

Nigeria’s Michael Jackson blames self - 4 years after

Less than a week to mark the fourth year exit of  king of pop music, Michael Jackson who died on June 25, 2009, his Nigerian look-alike, Michael Eze popularly known as Walko-Chilko, has blamed no one  but himself for his inability to get in touch  with the “stage idol” while he lived.
Expressing regrets in a chat with Showtime during the week, Walko-Chilko  said, “ The greatest mistake I have ever made in my life was my inability to meet Michael before his death. While he lived, people advised me to send my photograph to him, but I never took the advice seriously until after his death.” Speaking further, Walko-Chilko  revealed that when PMAN used him to welcome Marlon Jackson to the country a few years ago, the first question the latter asked was whether his brother knew his activities.
The Imo State-born pop singer who is returning to the spotlight with a new album, ‘Come Let’s Heal The World,’ described the late king of pop as “ the greatest entertainer that ever lived in the history of the world.”

5 ‘bad boy’ qualities even good men should have

A guy who has better funny names for people than I do and knows how to mock and tease like even the meanest of the mean girls can get my heart.
Some women like “bad boys.” Actually, scratch that. Most women like bad boys. There is something about a man with an “edge” that is just alluring to us all. He’s mysterious, angry, confident, and full of swagger.
Still, marrying a bad boy is a bad, bad move. It’s one thing to have a roller coaster dating life with ups and downs and drinking and fighting (and hot sex) and passion. It’s another to have a marriage like that. The former is sexy. The latter? Not so much.
Most of us grownup women give up the bad boys for the nice boys once we start looking at marriage, and there is no doubt, that’s the smart way to go. But here are five bad boy qualities we all want even our good boys to have:
