AFCON Victory: Jonathan Splashes N5m On Supporters Club



President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday announced a gift of N5 million to the Football Supporters Club of Nigeria, for cheering the Super Eagles to the Africa Cup of Nations victory.
The President announced the gift when the Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, presented the AFCON 2013 trophy to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in Abuja.
At the ceremony, which took place before the FEC meeting in the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Jonathan commended members of the supporters’ club for their unrelenting spirits.
It will be recalled that the President had at a special reception Tuesday rewarded the victorious Super Eagles team with national honours, cash donations and a plot of land each in FCT.

AFCON Final: We sent 113 members to support Eagles – Association of Nigerian Prostitutés



As the Super Eagles of Nigeria lock horns with the Stallions of Burkina Faso on Sunday in the final match cracker of the 29th edition of the Orange African Cup of Nation, South Africa 2013, DailyPost can authoritatively reveal that over 113 commercial séx workers otherwise known as prostitutes have stormed the city of Johannesburg to cheer the Super Eagles to victory.

“T.B.Joshua, I love you”; Super Eagles Midfielder Onazi Says As Nigeria Qualifies For AFCON Semis



The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the Semi-finals of the ongoing African Cup of Nations, AFCON. 
Nigeria beat Ivory Coast 2-1 in a tightly contested match that brought out the best we’ve seen in the Super Eagles so-far in this tournament.  Emmanuel Emenike unleashed a powerful shot from a free kick to put Nigeria in front before Newcastle United player Chiek Tiote who was unmarked in Nigeria’s 18-yard box scored the equalizer.
