Yoruba Actor, Muyiwa Ademola Honoured By Man O' War Nigeria



Popular Nollywood actor, Muyiwa Ademola, was recently honoured by the youth organisation, Man O'War. The actor was conferred with the title of War Marshal by the Oyo State chapter of the organisation. Man O'War is a youth organization, which seeks to raise better leaders through citizenship and leadership training. We say congratulations to Muyiwa Ademola with this honour.

Zaaki Azzays honoured with a UN Peace ambassadorial award



Months after being accused by his estranged wife of battery, Zakky Azzay has been honored with a United Nations Peace Ambassadorial award. He was among the few Nigerian celebrities decorated as UN peace ambassadors in Lagos yesterday Sunday January 20th.

2face Idibia Honoured With Oxfam Award





Africa’s finest artiste 2Face Idibia, has again added another badge of honor to his obviously crowded collection of awards.
The African Queen crooner was recently Awarded by Oxfam GB for his work and his contribution towards alienating hunger from Nigeria and Africa, raising awareness on current situations and mobilizing citizens to take action.
At an investiture ceremony that took place on December 13 2012 at the A-Class Park Hall in Maitama Abuja, 2Face, alongside Oxfam spokespersons Lami and Sound Sultan, were presented with a plaque in recognition of their commitment to the course of ensuring that the famine experienced in Africa recently is the last famine Africa would ever experience.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Honoured as Beffta Film Icon




The multiple award-winning actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has been recognised with a special honorary award BEFFTA FILM ICON for her contribution to film industry in Africa, Europe and globally. BEFFTA(Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating achievements of black and ethnic personalities in showbiz globally.



The Nollywood mega star who has appeared in over 300 hundred movies since starting her career at the tender age of 17 is popularly known for playing lead roles with films that smash the box office. Her recent films include Last Fight To Abuja, Amina, Ties That Bind and Ije.

Hailed as cinema box office queen, Omotola played lead role in the movie Ije, Africa’s biggest and highest earning movie in the cinemas to date. Omotola continues to appear on the screens globally with her latest movies Up Creek Without a Paddle and Blood on the Lagoon in post production .
