Moet & Chandon hosted Bright Okpocha popularly called Basket Mouth for his 36th Birthday at the Moët Rosé Night series last weekend. Having had a fantastic year to date, especially with the success of his Uncensored tour, Moet & Chandon Night Series celebrated humour merchant at an elegant event which saw him get a tailored Moet Nectar Rose bottle as a souvenir. Held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the newly refurbished Club Uno, the big event had celebrities including Ketchup, Buchi, Black Magic, Bovi, DJ Spinall, Ehiz, Shina Peller, Jimmie and others in attendance.

Popular comedian Basketmouth wants you all to know somethings about his days as a nobody in the industry and this is coming "Before I Write A Book", he sure plans to write a book soon.

Below is a brief insight Basketmouth gave on the first major help he got as a comedian:

Back stage at the Rothmans Groove tour which held @ TBS in 1998, there I was seated with the likes of The Plantashun Boiz, Dr. Fresh, Remedies and more... I was just a young boy trying to weigh his options on what direction to go with his career as drumming, rapping, producing and comedy were few of my options.

That night was the 1st time I met Tony Tetuila, one of those humble guys you come by, he was warm and accommodating considering the obvious fact that I was nobody in the industry.

Comedian Basketmouth will share short stories about his experience with people while growing in the Nigerian entertainment industry in a series called 'Before I Write a Book.' He plans to write a book eventually so this is a pre-entry to that project, thus, the title. Below is the first story he shares

While snooping around about the Insignia car the comedian recently acquired, I found out something else he's been trying to keep secret. Basketmouth recently completed a multi million Naira home for his mum. The house is located in a really nice estate here in Lagos. Madam Okpocha has since moved into the house. One of the biggest comedians to come out of Africa, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has just taken delivery of the 2013 Opel Insignia car. I heard from a close source to the comedian that it's a bespoke car, meaning that everything was built to Basketmouth's specification. The car is actually not sold at any showroom in the world...you can only order it. And Basketmouth's car I hear, is the only one that has been ordered in Africa. That means no one else has this car in Africa. The car sells for about 42 thousand pounds. Now that's big! Wow! Congrats Basket!!!
