Sir, it has been a long while you featured in movies?
Yes, you know the body is not as strong as it used to be. So, I am not stressing myself as I used to do before. If not of the love I have for acting, you would not see me here. The producer is a daughter, so I have to honour her call. I wonder how you pressmen know I would be here.

Charles Novia Writes About His First BJ

It was the fad in Benin City way back in my secondary school days. I attended the Immaculate Conception College and in my Year Three, I seemed to be the only boy in the testosterone-charged citadel who had not gotten a 'BJ'. All the boys would discuss how they got theirs with gleeful descriptions and saucy jigs mostly ending their recant. I also noticed that such boys thereafter seemed to walk with a swagger or a new jaunt to their steps. Now, there was I , a very conservative kid, at the cusp of puberty, still in the 'dark ages'.

You Are Fake-Accented Elephants –Charles Novia Blasts Naija Presenters

The Nollywood pioneer filmmaker has a lot to say about today's fake presenters:  Listening to some Nigerian radio stations can either leave one permanently befuddled or just plain angry all the time. The latter is what happens to me mostly, so I stopped listening to most radio stations for some time. The television stations are not any better. The cause of one's linear anguish is not hard to find. Confusing accents of the presenters!
Yes, one cannot really tell if the presenters on radio and television [in Nigeria these days] are from Miami, Manchester or Mushin or if they are just a bunch of clueless upstarts mouthing words which seem to make them happy but leaves the listener with a terrible 'earache'.

Nollywood Director Charles Novia DESTROYS Tonto Dike( Harshest Criticisms yet!!)

I have restrained myself for a couple of years from commenting on Tonto Dike?s career after my last comments about her role in the soft p*rn movie she acted in two years back, were badly taken by her and she went on twitter to hurl infantile insults on my person with expletives and uncomplimentary remarks.
My reaction to such then was just a dignified silence. After all, I had already spoken on her stunted talent as an up and coming actress and further comments on her incensed tweets were unnecessary.
