Aneke Twins Visit Orphanage Home, Orthopaedic Clinic & Host Widows in Enugu



On Wednesday 6th August 2014, Nollywood actresses Aneke Twins were a year older. They celebrated their day by visiting the Nigerian Red Cross Motherless Babies Home in Enugu as well as the Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu. The Aneke Twins also hosted the widows and physically challenged in the National Museum Enugu. The movie stars donated relief materials to the physically challenged, food supplies to the orphanage and gift items for the widows. Present with the twines were Ugochi Okereke (Executive Chairman Nkanu West, Enugu), Commissioner for Agriculture Prince Asogwa, actor Charles Awurum and members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Enugu Chapter.

Barbaric: Woman Sells her Child for ₦ 150,000 in Enugu



A 22-year-old single mother, identified as Chinelo Ituma has been arrested by the police in Enugu State for allegedly trading off her new born baby.
We gathered that Chinelo, an indigene of Ebonyi State, residing at New Artisan Market Enugu sold the baby girl for the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira.

Husband on the run As Wife Delivers Triplets In Enugu



The delight of Mrs. Ifeoma Odo of Ebo Umuabor in Nsukka Local Government Region, Enugu State, can turn to tears after her partner absconded on reading that she was in labour for triplets.

Odo informed the Information Company of Nigeria in Nsukka on Friday that her partner, Mr. John-Patrick Odo, faded when he realised she would give delivery to triplets.

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana Represents "Imprisoned" Enugu First Lady, Calls for Her Immediate Discharge



Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has asked the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. MD Abubakar, to ensure the immediate release from unlawful detention of Mrs. Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State who's being held hostage at Government House Enugu by Governor Sullivan Chime, or be dragged to court.

In a letter dated November 1, 2013, Mr. Falana, representing Mrs. Chime, pointed out that his client has been kept incommunicado in solitary confinement for over four months on the directives of Governor Chime.

First international flight lands in Enugu Airport




ENUGU- FOUR days to the official commencement of international flights at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, billionaire businessman, Chief Arthur Eze, Tuesday, flew into Enugu airport from Senegal.

The aircraft marked No 5MPZE, which landed at the modernised airport at about 3.20pm direct from Senegal, became the first international aircraft to touch down at the airport after it was upgraded.
President Goodluck Jonathan gave approval for the upgrading of the airport to an international status two years ago and laid the foundation for the construction of the international wing early this year.

Flavour N'Abania Opens Nightclub In Enugu



 By the time you finish reading this, the rave of the moment high life singer, Flavour N'Abania may have finished with his nightclub business which he intends to open in Enugu State before the end of this month.

We gathered that the singer is wrapping up plans to have a night club of his own, which would automatically launch him into the cadre of Nigeria's entertainers who have nightclub.


Information from his quarters also reveals that, the club, which will be named '2nite Club', will be officially unveiled on October 24, 2012.


Some of the celebrities expected to attend the unveiling ceremony are Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, KCee and many others.
