the lawyer for the woman, who stripped down with three of her children outside a suburban Philadelphia school, says a medical adverse reaction caused the psychotic episode.According to the local newspaper, the lawyer for Sara Butler says that contradictory medicines for lupus caused the mother to believe that the world was ending. Butler drove to Upper Darby High School in March with two adult sons and a teenage son. She wanted to pick up another child, but the student was not released to her because Butler was not the custodial parent. Police say that the family members then shed their clothes in the parking lot and chanted religious phrases. Butler and her adult daughters pleaded guilty Monday to indecent exposure and related charges. All were released on probation.

Janette Glenn, of Chicago, has been arrested and charged with murdering her 82-year-old mother Catherine Glenn. A 51-year-old Chicago woman has been charged with beating her 82-year-old mother to death on Mother’s Day weekend.

Man in Imo state hides mother's corpse in his house for 10 years
A 62 year old retired vice-principal has been arrested by the Imo state police for allegedly killing his mother and hiding her corpse in his house since 2003.
Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe was arrested after the embalmed body of his mother was discovered hidden in a cupboard in his house yesterday Monday April 14th by another family member.
Police say the body of the woman, Lucy Osuigwe, who was declared missing in 2003, 'was found in a large cupboard inside a shrine in a private room in a circumstance depicting ritual practice.'
The police believe the retired educationist and devotee of the Guru Maharaji sect, killed his mother for ritual purposes. Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe is being held for first degree murder.

Nursing Mother, Husband, 94 Kirikiri Inmates Freed
A nursing mother, Comfort James, who gave birth to a son, Emmanuel, during her remand in Kirikiri prison, and her husband, Bassey Ude, were among the 96 prisoners released from the facility by the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Ayotunde Philips, on Tuesday.
Philips, while on a visit aimed at decongesting the prisons, released eight female prisoners from the women section and 88 men from the Medium section of the prisons.
The Deputy Comptroller of Prison in charge of the female section of the prison, Mrs. Isioma Onwuli, said there were four pregnant women in the prison, and with Comfort’s release, there are now eight babies left.

Ini Edo on Saturday April 27th buried her mother-in-law, Mrs Erofoh Ehiagwina, in Irrua in Edo state. Mrs Ehiagwina died February this year. The actress' US based husband returned home to give his late mum a befitting burial.
