Attempted Murder: Graduate Attempts Suicide After 10-year of Unemployment! (Pictured)

As a fresh graduate myself, these sad tales of unemployment leaves one in shock! Based on Punch Newspapers, an unemployed engineering graduate, Mr. Sunday Omotayo, tried to get rid of his own life yesterday Wednesday April 9th, but also for the timely intervention of a police woman along Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, Akwa Ibom. Sunday Omotayo caused a stir in the community, when he jumped out of a speeding Toyota Hiace bus, hoping to be crushed to death by any vehicle. He is tired of life after trying to find a job for 10yrs after graduation. 

Speaking on his predicament, Sunday Omotayo said:

"There is no state that I have not gone to in search of a job in the past 10 years.I came to Akwa Ibom because of the stories of Governor Godswill Akpabio and his publicized uncommon transformation.

A 33-year-old man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to have $-ex with a woman in the backseat of a vehicle after the woman's female companion offered him a trip on the Near North Side of the summer.

The man begged one of his true tormentors — who demanded he places his hand on her breasts and buttocks during the July 26 attack — to put a stop, it was reported. He eventually escaped, running out from the car naked from the waist down and into a taxi where a cabbie helped him and drove him home to the suburbs, in Chicago.

A 33-year-old man has spent five years and ₦16m ($100k) in an attempt to look like his hero – teenaged pop idol Justin Bieber. Toby Sheldon is truly a songwriter from Los Angeles who has used Bieber's youthful features because the inspiration for numerous surgeries, including face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery.

2 Nigerian students return Home after Hiding for one year in Canada

You guys remember both Nigerian girls who have been in trouble with immigration authorities in Canada since June 2012 after these were caught employed in Walmart? The girls, have been students of University of Regina, had student visas which only permitted them to work only on campus and not outside. They didn't know working outside campus was not permitted underneath the terms of these student visas and when these were caught, these were put under a deportation order. (Read the full story here)

Oritsejafor Asks Jonathan, Public Office Holders To Dedicate Half Of Their Salaries For One Year To The Poor

National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has called on President Goodluck Jonathan and other elected and appointed public office holders to dedicate half of their salaries for one year to the poor.

 

The CAN President, who spoke during the 53rd Independence Anniversary Interdenominational Church Service on Sunday at the National Christian Centre in Abuja, said the move would build confidence in the country.

I am 18 years old and in my second year in a private university. I started having s-ex when I turned 16 after leaving secondary school and I have had four s-exual partners so far. Twenty days after  27-year-old Akintunde Omotehinde reportedly assaulted his 60-year-old mother sexually at Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, residents of the area are still in shock over the incident.

Although the Omotehinde family kept mute over the issue, some people in the neighbourhood said they heard about the incident.

Speaking to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, some residents, said rape was not a common occurrence in the locality.

Heartless: 23-Year-Old Woman nabbed For Dumping Baby In Toilet

A 23-year-old woman was on Tuesday arrested in Jigawa by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for allegedly dumping her new born baby boy in a toilet in Hadeja town of Hadejia Local Government Area of the state.
The Corps Commandant in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, said in Dutse that the suspect was arrested carrying out a tip-off by patriotic citizens. He explained that the suspect gave birth to the baby on Sept. 1 around 11.30p.m and allegedly dumped it in the toilet.

A 19-year-old Florida woman was jailed for violating a court order prohibiting her from contacting her 14-year-old girlfriend. The gay community rallied behind Kaitlyn Hunt when she was arrested and expelled from school for having s-ex with a minor earlier this year. Hunt was arrested in February and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor. At the time of her arrest she was 18 and the unidentified minor was 14. The younger girl’s mother reported Hunt to police after she learned of their relationship.

Doctors have removed a 10cm long steel fork inside a man’s penis, after a sexual adventure went horribly wrong. The 70-year-old visited Canberra Hospital’s emergency department complaining of bleeding genitalia.  He then promptly admitted that he had inserted a piece of cutlery into his urethra in an attempt to satisfy himself. A 35-year-old woman has been charged with 20 counts of rape and sodomy after she allegedly had an eight-month s-exual relationship with an 11-year-old boy. Sarah Beth Hopkins, from Salem, was arrested on Sunday after the parents of her alleged victim reported her to police. The boy, now 12, confessed to his mother he had been s-exually active with Hopkins for the last eight months. When Hopkins was confronted she allegedly admitted the s-exual abuse. The family lived at the same apartment complex as Hopkins - who was seen as a trusted family friend - until about two weeks ago. The mother became suspicious of their close friendship and the amount of time they spent together.

A 39-year-old female Inspector of Police, Mary Igah, had pleaded with an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve her 19-year marriage because of threats to her life.

She told the court that her husband, Emmanuel, who is also a policeman, threatened to deal with her, and that soon after that, she saw her pant and brassiere in his bag.

She said: “My husband took my underwear without my consent. I saw my pant and brassiere in his hand bag when he wanted to leave for work. I am scared of staying with him, I no longer feel safe in his house.”
