Reno Omokri responds to Guardian UK piece on Pres. Jonanthan

Reno Omokri is Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media and below is his response to Remi Adekoya's article in the UK Guardian
I just read Mr. Remi Adekoya's piece in the Guardian of the U.K. entitled ‘Goodluck Jonathan's report card for Nigeria? Must try harder’ in which he praised President Jonathan for a booming economy but came down hard on him for failing to help Nigeria's poor.
When Adekoya says "Infrastructure also remains a problem. Without a modern road network, doing business in Nigeria will remain prohibitively expensive and logistically challenging", he betrays a surface understanding of recent events in Nigeria.

Saudi Prince jailed in the UK for killing his servant flown home to serve the rest of his sentence

The grandson of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, Prince Saud Bin Abdulaziz, (pictured left) who was jailed for life in the UK in 2010 for killing his servant was on Monday March 18th flown back to Saudi Arabia to serve the rest of his sentence. But why would the British government do that? They really expect the grandson of the King of Saudi to be locked up forever in Saudi? I hear!

Homosexual Prince Saud murdered his servant, Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz in a London hotel on 15 February 2010 after the pair returned from a Valentine's Day night out. He subjected the servant to a 'sadistic' campaign of violence and sexual abuse before beating and strangling him to death.

Former Miss Nigeria UK, Dabota Lawson, gets $30k cosmetic surgery

Unlike some people who are hiding the work they had done...you know who you are..:-), Dabota is proud of hers. She's not necessarily talking about it, but she's not hiding it either. According to a very reliable source, the former beauty queen, model and actress got a nose job (before and after photo above) and also got liposuction (removing fat from the body using suction)  I heard that the procedure, which she got gradually since 2012, cost her a whooping $30, 000. From around here, it is one thing to see the governor of your state face-to-face, it is someone else to have him pose for a photo with you- not when they invariably drive amid a long entourage of tinted cars.  But guess who our darling actress Kate Henshaw ran into at a cafe in the UK, and even took a photo with- UK's very own Prime Minister and Leader of the Conservative Party David Cameron.

UK police now suggesting Nigerian Girl Naomi Oni Poured the Acid on herself

Police are believed to have seized a computer belonging to a young woman who was badly scarred in an acid attack amid suspicions that she may have caused the injuries herself. But her family fear that detectives are not doing enough to catch the perpetrator of the attack and are focusing on a 'crazy' line of inquiry.  Naomi Oni, 20, was left with horrific injuries following the incident which happened as she left work at the end of last year and was in hospital for nearly a month receiving treatment. Police are understood to have taken Miss Oni's laptop and are said to have discovered that she had searched the internet for websites about acid attacks before she received her injuries.

I'm Pregnant For My Pastor, What Should I Do? - UK Based Nigerian Girl Needs Advice

Am based in the United Kingdom and a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God here in the UK. I am a 25-year-old Nigerian girl.
I have lived in the UK for over five years, running into my 6th year already. However, as it is generally held, “life is not always smooth and straight” I understand that life, most of the time is full of ‘zig and zag’ just like it’s characterized with ups and downs. My story is not different after all. I have had my good times too, and I consider this time as my most trying moment.
