No Nigerian under Ebola surveillance -Minister





Minister of health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, has said the country is free of the Ebola Virus Disease. Speaking at the UN General Assembly in New York, Chukwu said the remaining 25 suspects under surveillance in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had been certified free of EVD and discharged, having completed 21 days of observation.

Ex-Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah honoured in Lagos



Ex-Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah was recently honored with an award of excellence by Igbo association, Ndigbo Lagos. The award ceremony which took place at the Grand ball room of the Oriental Hotel in Lagos saw Stella Oduah and eight other men & women of Igbo extract honored for their service in their various fields of endeavors. When asked by journalists what the award meant to her, Ms Oduah said it was a confirmation that there's dignity in labor & called on all Nigerians to strive to ensure that Nigeria is properly developed

Mentality Check: Ghanaian minister sacked for stating she Plans to Make $1million from politics.



A Ghanaian woman deputy minister has been dropped by the country's President Steve Dramani Mahama after she allegedly claimed she won't cease politics until she makes a minumum of one million dollars.
Deputy Minister of Communication, Victoria Hammah, (pictured above) was sacked today, the day after she was heard in a released recording to stereo expressing she'd perhaps not stop politics until she's wealthy.

Aviation Minister. Stella Oduah spotted in Jerusalem as Pres. GEJ refuses to see her




Aviation Minster Stella Oduah is in Israel where she went to meet up President Jonathan to explain her role in the controversial BMW car deal and also take part in the signing of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Israel. But according to new reports, the president has not merely refused to see Stella Oduah, he's also keeping her from the signing ceremony that may hold today in Israel.

"Who the fuc*k are they? Who the fuc*k", says tensed Aviation Minister Stella Oduah



During an interview with Nigeria's embattled aviation minister, Ms. Stella Oduah, a Journalist asked if she was concerned that critics were raising issues concerning the remodelling of airports she was doing.

Oduah flared up: "Who the fu*ck are they? Who the fu*ck!" By the time Joe Obi, the minister's aide began pleading with journalists not utilize the word "fuc*k" inside their reports, the damage had been done. When Oduah later said an accident is "an act of God", my friend wasn't surprised. He had known the girl for long.

REVEALED: Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah's fraudulent car deal More Expensive Than British Prime Minster’s Car




Each of the two armoured BMW 760 Li cars bought for the Minister for Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority is more costly compared to the British Prime Minister, David Cameron's car.
While Oduah's cars choose $800,000 (about N127.5m) each, Cameron's armoured Jaguar XJ X351 car costs £200,000 (about N52m).

How Aviation Minister enforced aviation Agency to pay $1.6m on two armored vehicles for her

SaharaReporters has obtained documents further exposing the depth of corruption and mismanagement of public funds at Nigeria’s Ministry of Aviation headed by Stella Oduah. One of the documents details how Ms. Oduah compelled the cash-strapped Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to purchase two armored BMW cars for the minister. NCAA is the agency charged with ensuring the airworthiness of commercial planes flying within Nigeria’s airspace. Two officials of the agency told SaharaReporters that the NCAA did not have enough funds to upgrade equipment, send staff for critical training, and hire enough qualified staff. “Yet, all the minister is concerned about is to have two exotic BMW cars from the little money we have for operations,” one of the sources said.

FFK Should Hide Himself In Shame – Aviation Minister Stella Oduah fires back



The Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, yesterday Tuesday hit back at Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, describing  him as being an ignorant individual, who “should hide his head in shame.” after he said it was wrong for the minister to tell Nigerians that ‘' accidents are inevitable''and that they were ‘' acts of God.”
Oduah said:
“I have huge sympathy for them, the ignorant people in particular. Because when you speak out of context, when you speak under the influence of whatever it is you are under, you speak incorrectly and you mislead innocent Nigerians and that is what he has done. And he really should hide his head in shame.”

Nigeria Has 35m Illiterate Adults – Minister ( Do you agree ?) Read




Nigeria’s adult illiterates have increased from 25 million in 1997 to 35 million in 2013, according to Minister of State for Education, Chief Nyesom Wike.  Speaking, yesterday, at a ministerial briefing to commemorate the 2013 International Literacy Day themed “Literacy for 21st century”, Wike said Nigeria had over 10.5 million children out of school which, according to him, is embarrassing to the nation.

The frosty relationship between President Goodluck Jonathan and five northern governors on Monday claimed its victim  as the President ordered the sack of the Minister of Youth Affairs, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir.
Our correspondents learnt that the minister was sacked, among other reasons, because of his continuous loyalty to the Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko.

Until his appointment, Abdulkadir was the  state Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice in the Wamakko administration.

Boxer Bash Ali bundled out by Minister of Sport’s security detail [VIDEO]



Nigerian boxing legend, Bash Ali, 57, was manhandled by policemen after attempting to see the Minister ofSports, Bolaji Abdullahi in Abuja on Thursday June 6th.
According to the Nigerian Telegraph, the boxer, who is seeking to become the oldest manto hold a world boxing title defence, and wants to have his defence staged in Nigeria, jostled to get an audience with President Jonathan, who was at the Abuja National Stadium to inaugurate ‘Rhythm ‘N’ Play on Thursday. Ali scuffled with the president’s aides, which got the attention of Jonathan. After having been allowed to approach the president, and after stating his mission, Jonathan directed that the boxer see the Minister of Sports for further discussion on the matter.

As If We've Had Enough: Expect more power cuts, minister tells Nigerians



The Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, on Wednesday said there would be more power cuts in the days ahead due to ongoing maintenance works on installations across the country.

Nebo, while explaining why there was a sharp drop in power supply at a briefing in Abuja, said the country lost 1,112 megawatts of generated electricity in two days due to the shutdown of the Chevron gas plant.

He said, “A few days ago, precisely last week Friday, Chevron shut down its gas plant for maintenance purposes, which was to take place between Friday and Saturday. And the technical crew in the power sector knew about the shutdown and this was in order to make sure that damages are not done before losing the gas entirely.

An X-rated TV prank has left the prime minister of Serbia feeling a little overexposed after he was flashed by a glamorous presenter during an interview.

The country's Socialist party leader Ivica Dačić was midway through a discussion about Balkan politics when the young woman, wearing a particularly short mini dress, uncrossed her legs to reveal she wasn't wearing any underwear. The YouTube video, a clear copy of the famous scene starring Sharon Stone in the 1992 film Basic Instinct, has already had more than 1.2million hits.
