Man fakes his own death to propose to girlfriend
Alexey Bykov, 30, from Omsk, fell in love with his girlfriend, Irena Kolokov.
He wanted to marry her. But first he had to come up with a good marriage proposal.
Bykov also wanted to see if his girlfriend really loved him to death, so he faked his own death in a strange wedding proposal.
Bykov, hired a film director, makeup artists and even a script writer, to stage a fake car accident.
Then he arranged to meet his girlfriend near the crash site. “When she gets there, she will think that I was involved in an accident on the way to meet her,” said Bykov.

Richard Bradford had been living under the false identity of James Edward Heard and owned several properties in the Pasadena area, including a drug rehabilitation facility, authorities said.
Bradford was sentenced to life for first-degree murder in 1971, was paroled in 1978, and skipped out on his parole supervision in 1980, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said in a statement Wednesday.
Agents arrested Bradford this week, more than 32 years after he had disappeared, the statement said.
A false birth certificate with Heard's name was created in Alameda County in 1977, and a Social Security card was issued to him in 1978, both while he was still in prison, officials said.

The big tree had been a worship centre for some residents, while others had described it as a deity responsible for the protection of the people of the area. Sacrifices were offered at the tree, and it also served as a bus-stop for passengers leaving Ebonyi or going into the State.
When the tree fell, a 12-bungalow building was destroyed. Mr. Sunday Eze, owner of the destroyed building called on the state government to quickly come to their aid by removing the tree and possibly assist them with basic amenities and reconstruction work.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Cephas Arthur has reiterated the police willingness to arrest American R&B musician, Chris Brown. According to him, even though he has returned to his country, the law which is no respecter of a person can go for him and deal with him accordingly; that is, if investigations prove that he was indeed smoking marijuana.

A 37-year-old woman in southwestern Sweden who was on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 charged for Necrophilia took ‘boning’ to a new level, police contend, and may face up to two years in the slammer.
Police sources at the Gothenburg District Court say the woman took ‘boning’ to a new level and may face up to two years in prison for violating the peace of the dead.
According to the Huffington post, the whole incident came to the open when police was notified of a gunshot fired from the woman’s apartment in September, which led to the alleged discovery of 100 skeleton parts in her apartment.
