End Of Oil Theft For Pastor, herbalist & 26 others.

Ajuwa in Ikenne local government area of Ogun State is known for its agrarian nature. But many of the villagers seem to have, lately, abandoned agriculture for the more lucrative business of pipeline vandalisation. They burst the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s (NNPC) pipelines passing through their village to steal fuel which they sell.

Sunday Vanguard gathered that, apart from Arepo village in Obafemi-Owode local government area of Ogun State, where some vandals lost their lives while scooping fuel, last year, the next hot spot for black market for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, is Ajuwa.

Nigerian Oil Tycoon ordered to pay British ex-wife,£17.5M in divorce settlement

Nigerian Michael Prest has lost a legal battle with his estranged English wife Yasmin over a £17.5m divorce settlement.
The Supreme Court judgement marks the latest round of a lengthy legal cash dispute between the couple over the oil tycoon's fortune.

In October, the Court of Appeal ruled that a High Court judge had earlier wrongly ordered Mr Prest to transfer properties, worth millions of pounds and held in the names of companies he controlled, to Mrs Prest.  She then asked the Supreme Court - the highest court in the UK - to assess the case, where seven judges on Wednesday unanimously allowed Mrs Prest's appeal.

PHOTO: Two Elderly Women Caught And Abused After Stealing Palm Oil

These Two Women were caught when they stole palm oil from a supermarket and put it under their shirt, Look at the how they were humiliated!!!
One question.. why would they steal palm oil?? well it’s obvious that they need it to prepare food since poverty has embraced our beloved country to an unimaginable extent…  It’s quite shocking to see that Ghana which was the Most promising Country in Africa with lots of Investment coming from all over the world has now been reduced in this condition within a mere 4yrs time frame..
This is Gargantuanly ridiculous indeed and something must be done about it fast, We don’t like seeing our mothers in these situation koraaa!!

We Will Help Nigeria Reduce Oil Theft In The Niger Delta — UK Minister, Simmonds ( Do we Need Help?)

Britain’s Minister for Africa, the Overseas Territories, Caribbean and International Energy, Mark Simmonds, was in Nigeria recently to explore ways of deepening economic ties between both countries. In an exclusive interview with MARCEL MBAMALU, he said the UK would help Nigeria enthrone transparency in managing its oil wealth as well as overcome challenges of theft. Simmonds, among other issues, also spoke about the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).
Let’s begin by talking about why you are in Nigeria at this time...
THERE is the need to deepen econmic and trade ties between our two countries. You will probabaly recall that President Jonathan and Prime Minister Cameron  agreed, in a communique, that they would double bilateral trade by 2014.
In 2000 and 2012, we increaseed bilateral trade by 40 percent; so, we are making significant progress. But, of course, there is more that needs to be done.
