 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, September 26, 2014 arraigned Dandeson Ebosele Ibhonitie, 26, (a.k.a Dandy James, Connor Mead and Barrister Louis Harpoch and Ohiwerei Charity, 31, before Justice E. F. Ikponmwen of Edo State High Court, Benin-City on a 3- count charge bordering on conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence.

Ibhonitie and Charity allegedly belong to the group of fraudsters using the internet to defraud unsuspecting victims.

SaharaReporters has obtained documents further exposing the depth of corruption and mismanagement of public funds at Nigeria’s Ministry of Aviation headed by Stella Oduah. One of the documents details how Ms. Oduah compelled the cash-strapped Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to purchase two armored BMW cars for the minister. NCAA is the agency charged with ensuring the airworthiness of commercial planes flying within Nigeria’s airspace. Two officials of the agency told SaharaReporters that the NCAA did not have enough funds to upgrade equipment, send staff for critical training, and hire enough qualified staff. “Yet, all the minister is concerned about is to have two exotic BMW cars from the little money we have for operations,” one of the sources said.

Two middle-aged men, Samuel Friday and Oni Oluwatobi have been arraigned in an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly having séxual intercourse inside the auditorium of a church in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The suspected homoséxuals, who were facing trial before Magistrate Olusola Aluko over allegation of indecent séxual practice, were arrested at the Peace of Jesus Apostolic Church, Asubiaro, Osogbo, where they allegedly committed the crime.

 Pictured above is one of the two n*ked women who were arrested last week while roaming outside a house in Budiriro suburb. According to Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Tadius Chibanda, He said the two were from Gokwe-Nembudziya communal area. “We have arrested two suspected witches this morning at a house along Gata Street in Budiriro 2,” Insp Chibanda said. In one of the baskets there was a live brown owl and some skeletons of an animal that looked like a baboon while the other had some snails and unknown orange substance in a 500mls bottle.

Person with AIDS arrested for criminal assault following spitting at two girls

The criminal assault charges against Thompson came because she has AIDS, and spitting can possibly cause harm to the victims. According to experts, HIV can be found in saliva, but it is usually in too small amounts to infect anyone. According to the report, two victims reported to police that on Wednesday, Thompson spat on both of them.

The police on Wednesday arraigned two clubs “girls’’ in a Grade 1 Area Court, Aso Pada, Mararaba, for disturbing public peace and constituting themselves into a nuisance.

They are Treasure Edobor, 25, of Aso and Charity Jemo, 23, of Mararaba in Nasarawa State.

The prosecutor, Insp. Friday Idache, told the court that the matter was first reported on Sept. 10, at the ‘A’ Division Police Station, Mararaba by Edobor (second accused).

Both set new state records for largest alligator to be killed in Mississippi, so clearly nobody should ever go to Mississippi again. This 4-metres, 328.2 kilos male alligator held the record for the heaviest alligator ever to be killed in Mississippi for about one hour. It took Beth Trammell and her team of six people an hour and a half to bring down the 328.2 kilos beast after it became hooked on their lines.

 Trammell told the Clarion-Ledger that when the alligator finally surfaced beside the boat, she screamed, “Oh, my gosh. It’s the Loch Ness monster.” After another two hours, and the assistance of a few extra hunters, the alligator was hoisted into their boat and taken back to shore to be weighed and measured, and a new, albeit short-lived, state record was set. The previous weight record was 316.4 kilos, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife,Fisheries, and Parks. The state’s alligator hunting season, sponsored by the department, ends on Sept. 9. Hunters must apply for permits and attend alligator hunting training courses if they are selected through the department’s lottery. While Trammell and her team were subduing their behemoth, another gator, weighing 329.8 kilos and measuring 4 metres had been killed by a group of hunters a few miles away. Apapa Magistrate Court remanded two women, Ogechi Nmerenini, 23 and Bilikisu Akinyode, 22 in prison for fighting in public over a man.  They were arrested by the police at Atebo Street, Ajegunle and charged with disturbing public peace.  Fighting broke out between them when they discovered that they were dating the same lover in Ajegunle area of Lagos.

A suggestion by one of them that they should continue their secret relationship with their lover was rebuffed by one of them who insisted on having the lover for herself alone.
The accused, it was gathered, injured each other during the fight.
