I got plenty mails from some guys in South Africa who wanted me to expose Angela Okorie as a thief. They sent me pics, police phone numbers, details of what supposedly happened over there but I didn't touch the story because I suspected they were just trying to mess this lady up...and according to her own version of things, that's exactly what happened.

Actress Angela Okorie was arrested and detained for a day in South Africa last weekend for allegedly stealing $3,200 from a friend's home. Reacting to the story to Yes! Magazine, Angela says it was all blackmail from a friend/fan named Prosper, whose s3xual advances she turned down and whose stock in trade is to extort money from Nigerians who go to South Africa for project. Fake interpreter outrages S African deaf community making a 'total mockery' of language during Mandela's funeral

The sign language interpreter hired by the South African government for the memorial for Nelson Mandela was not using universally recognized symbols and made a "total mockery" of the language, the Deaf Association of South Africa said on Wednesday.

"The signs the interpreter used are not used in South African sign language and it is a total mockery of the language," said Bruno Druchen, the national director of the organization.

Woman Arrested In SA For Driving Her Father To The Hospital.

A Kuwaiti woman has been arrested in Saudi Arabia for driving her diabetic father to hospital.  The woman was stopped by police near the border with Kuwait and detained before being held in custody pending investigation, according to the Kuwait Times. It comes a week after a group of women staged a high-profile protest against the ban on female drivers in Saudi Arabia. Officers were said to be unsympathetic with her when she told them her father was ill and needed to be taken up to hospital. It is unclear whether the woman's father made it to hospital after her arrest.

Singer Atorise back in Nigeria after being shot & hospitalised in SA

Gospel singer Lanre Teriba, popularly known as Atorise was shot by armed robbers in South Africa on February 15 while there for a concert. He was attacked immediately after the show by unknown gunmen who robbed him and shot him in the leg. He was taken to Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria South Africa where he had a successful surgery and was discharged recently. He returned to Nigeria today (seen above at the airport this afternoon)
