We Live With Snakes In Our Schools – Primary School Pupils In Ogun

Few days before the Children’s Day  – the only day particularly set aside to honour children and lay emphasis on their education – Saturday PUNCH set out to seek the experiences of pupils in some schools in some rural areas. Of course, school children in rural areas usually have experiences that are different from their urban counterparts.
The pupils sat haphazardly, each perching where he or she could get a space. Those who could not find a space on benches with their little friends, took up vantage positions on the bare floor as they sang, “A for Apple, B for Ball…”

Now, children are beginning to do what is not supposed to be done or talked about at their age, but the blame I don't feel should be put on them, cause most of them is from peer pressure, seeing it too much in their daily lives that they now think its normal and so many other things. It was not long ago that we saw Two Students Kíssing In Class, i guess that one was only a little. Girl Hit With 2-Foot-Long Arrow on School Trip

Nadine Hairston was minding her own business on a field trip with her fellow third-graders, enjoying a life-size sculpture of a whale, when she felt something sharp pierce her leg.
"First I felt shock and looked down," the 8-year-old said Wednesday. "I was sliding down … but had an arrow in my leg."
Nadine was rushed from Lawrence Hall of Science Tuesday in Berkeley, Calif., to a hospital where doctors surgically removed the 2-foot-long crossbow arrow. The arrow punctured a fleshy part of her leg and missed major arteries.
Teachers and students came to Nadine's aid after they saw the arrow protruding out of her leg. Nadine said the random arrow struck her when she was coming down the slide outside the Lawrence Hall of Science.

School Ordered To Pay Pupil, Parents N3.3m For Poor Education

A school has been ordered to compensate a pupil and his parents for failing to improve his weak performance despite passing him from grade 1 to grade 2.
The Dubai-based private school will have to pay Dh77,500 (about N3.3m) in moral and financial compensation to the parents after the Dubai Appeal Court found the school was careless and inattentive in terms of catering proper educational care to the seven-year-old pupil.
The parents considered that the school had failed to pay proper attention to their son’s academic performance and held it responsible for failing to improve his standard, according to Abdullah Mohammad Klaib, Head of Dubai Civil Prosecution.

Christian School allegedly fires a pregnant woman for having S*x before marriage

* = e
A California woman is suing a Christian school after her employer asked point-blank if she was pregnant, then fired her.
Teri James, 29, was unmarried when she was hired as a financial aid specialist at San Diego Christian College, according to her lawyer. The woman desperately needed a job, so she signed a contract and agreed to abide by the school’s moral codes, which include abstaining from premarital s*x. She said she is humiliated by her dismissal — especially after the school offered her boyfriend a job.
The El Cajon, Calif. resident had been working at the college for two years. The woman signed the agreement before she became pregnant. James claims that the school knew that her boyfriend — whom she later married — had also engaged in premarital s*x.

Fraud: Incredible: Mom hacked school's computer to change her kids grades, gets arrested

Catherine Venusto, a 45-year-old mother of two, was unhappy with her daughter’s grades. Instead of letting her daughter suffer the consequences for doing poorly, she decided to change her daughter’s failing grades, by hacking into the school's system.  As for her son, he was doing great in school as he got a 98% on his exam, but she wasn’t happy with the grade, so she changed it to a 99%.  According to investigators, she had done this 100s of times before she was caught.  Venusto, is a former secretary of the school, therefore she knew the superintendent’s password which she used from her home computer to log into the school’s system and change the grades. State police say, Venusto admitted changing the grades, saying she thought her actions were unethical but legal.

'He Is Cheating On Me With A Secondary School Student' - Lady Seeks Help

I am a 23-year-old college graduate with a 5-year-old daughter and I have been dating Mr. X for 4 years. After graduating together, Mr. X and I decided to move to another state because it was something he always wanted to do, and I agreed because there were more job opportunities there. Not long after moving, things got really bad between us. Keep in mind, we lived together while we finished undergrad so living together was never an issue.
So, once things got bad, meaning he was acting indifferent towards me, I became a detective. I instantly suspected he was seeing someone else, but he whole-heartedly denied it and asked when he would have time because all he does is go to work and come home. I tried to let it go but couldn’t. One night he didn’t come home and this was very unsettling to me. One day, I was going through his phone and I saw a number he called repeatedly. I called and asked this young lady if she knew Mr. X and she said, ‘Yes, that’s my boyfriend!’ My heart broke instantly.

Photos: See Inside female hostel at Medical School Idi Araba (LUTH)

This is where women have their baths. Such an eyesore. Instead of spending billions on one person's home/office, i.e Sambo, the Federal Government of Nigeria should instead look into renovating and rebuilding facilities in institutions like this. Heard there's no stable light there, difficult to get water and mosquito nets at the hospital are torn. Some medical students from the school sent me the photos after seeing the ones from the police college.
