P0rnó-graphy case: Covenant University was right to expel student – Court
The law suit filed by 20-year-old Longji Felix Vwamhi, a 400 level student of Information and Communication Technology Department of Covenant University against the institution, has been struck out by Justice Mobolaji Ojo of an Ogun High Court sitting in Ota, Ogun state on Wednesday.
Vwamhi had challenged the institution over his expulsion for being in possession of p0rnó-graphic materials in his laptop.
The case was dismissed for lack of merit.
It would be recalled that Vwamhi was on November 27, 2012 expelled from the institution following the outcome of the Disciplinary Committee set up by the university which found him guilty of being in possession of p0rnó-graphic materials and indecent dressing.

Fast forward eight years later; my immediate younger sister introduced this same guy to me as her boyfriend. I was hoping they would break up so he wouldn't be an issue between my sister and I but that didn't happen.
A year later, they are getting married. Their wedding is actually this Saturday. There's serious friction between the guy and I as we can't even look at each other or talk directly to each other.
I have been avoiding him since he hooked up with my sister but now that they are about to be married, I'm stuck.
Should I tell my sister what happened between us or leave things the way they are? Does she have a right to know?
I'm confused. Pls help!!!

Speaking recently on a Channels TV programme, Davido disclosed that the main reason he parted ways with the young Asika was because he (Asika) was immature.
The superstar singer also explained that he left Asika’s management because they had “different views and issues,” adding that “we just had to go apart.”
Continuing, the son of Deji Adeleke, a billionaire businessman from Osun State, said, “we started this whole thing together and moved it to a certain level.”
“I felt I needed a more matured management,” Davido further explained. He (Davido), however, maintained that, “he (Asika) is still my friend anytime.”

Ace Nigerian musicians King Sunny Ade and Wasiu Ayinde, aka K1 are surprisingly missing from a list of richest African musicians published by an international online magazine, Africa Answers.
The omission of the artistes, whose careers span several decades, from the list is the subject of a debate that is currently rippling through the Nigerian entertainment circles.
The list, a periodic ritual by Africa Answers,includes Tuface Idibia, BankyW, D’Banj and P-Square among 10 wealthiest artistes on the continent.
Skuki splashes millions on Peeshaun condoms, set to partner with UNICEF

Davido was a guest on Rubbing Minds this past Sunday, and the host, Ebuka Obi Uchedu asked him about this photo of him in bed with a babe. Below is how he explained it:
"I was just sleeping and she probably just slipped in. I don't know where, how anything happened. I don't know her. I was in an apartment then and everything was just free. Maybe my door was unlocked or something like that and she slipped in and took the picture. I moved out to my new house, big house, you can't try anything, the security is tight."He said the girl later called his people to apologize to him. Rick Ross Addresses Date Rape Lyric
In an interview on New Orleans radio station Q93.3, Rick says his lyric was misunderstood:
"I wanted to come down to the radio station. There is certain things you can’t tweet, you have to verbalize. I want to make sure this is clear, that woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used. I would never use the term rape. As far as my camp, hip hop don’t condone that. The streets don’t condone that. Nobody condones that.
