Mayokun Awodumila, aka, May D is a native of Ekiti State, but grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria with his family, 4 brothers and their parents.

A graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos (Unilag), May D released his first singles ‘’Cool Temper’’ and ‘’Soundtrack’ in 2011 to an appreciative level of positive reviews from the industry insiders.

Later that year, he featured on Psquare`s Invasion Album, collaborating on ‘Chop My Money’ which also featured Akon on the remix and on ‘Do as I Do’ which also had Tiwa Savage on it.

In early 2012, he released his second singles ‘Ile Ijo’, ‘Gat Me High’, and ‘You Want 2 Know Me’, which featured PSquare.

The youngest daughter of the National leader of Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, achieved a feat on Saturday as she officially graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

Abibat Tinubu’s graduation was marked with a great ceremony. The ceremony was attended by her parents, and her elder sister, Zainab.

A photo of man bearing a striking resemblance to Jay-Z has surfaced, and if it wasn't for the fact that it was taken in 1939, you'd swear it was JayZ himself.

The photo is “Harlem Loiterers” by the street photographer Sid Grossman and it was stumbled across recently by a curator at the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture.

And the New York Public Library swears, the old photo of the guy who looks scarily like Jay-Z really is an unretouched, un-Photoshopped image from 1939.

“We’re 100 percent certain it’s legitimate,” Adenike Olanrewaju, a library spokeswoman, said on Friday.

It’s kind of like making a social comparison with money. More income doesn’t necessarily make you happy because you can buy more things—rather, you use money as a benchmark to compare yourself to others and see whether or not you’re living the good life.

The same applies to s-èx: If you know your friends are getting it on every night, you ultimately feel less satisfied with what’s happening in your bedroom.

A man sexually abused a peacock, which was later found dead in his garage, according to authorities in Illinois.

Last Wednesday, the richest black man, Aliko Dangote and Chairman, Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, travelled in company with each other. As expected, they chose to fly in a private jet.

A few hours after, Elumelu’s Facebook page was able to inform curious minds of their destination and mission. He tagged the message with a picture of him and Dangote in an aircraft.

It read: ‘‘Richest black man on earth, Aliko Dangote and I, heading to Cape Town as part of President Jonathan’s delegation to meet with South African business community.’’

Court Sends 20 Students To Jail Over Murder of lecturer

Twenty students of the Kogi State Polytechnic have been remanded in prison custody by a Lokoja Magistrates Court over rioting and murder of a senior lecturer of the institution, Mr Nathaniel Abimaje.

During the court session yesterday, the police prosecutor, Samuel Ikutanwa, told the court that on April 19, the accused persons incited some unidentified students of the institution to riot over the setting up of a panel to look into the case of a student who was involved in examination malpractice.

He told the court that the accused persons were armed with dangerous weapons such as axes, guns and cutlasses. He further alleged that the students went on rampage and stabbed Abimaje severally.

I Am Totally Healed Of Cancer – Vast (Bracket)

Few days ago, news went viral that one of Bracket music group, Vast was hit with cancer of the blood called Lymphoma. The news generated tension as some of his fans became worried about the development.

Meanwhile, Vast, has come out to calm the tension raised by the news. According to him, “I am full of energy” and “totally healed” because the incident is “an old news. I was healed since February.”

Jim Iyke Finally Responds To His Girlfriend's Lies

Contrary to what Jim Iyke's ex-girlfriend, Kenturah, is trying hard to make people believe about his success so far and his reality show titled "Jim Iyke UNSCRIPTED", the actor has finally cleared the air. He has cut out his defense very straight. Below is how he responded to her allegations:

"I am sure you saw part of the clips. Somebody sped off and jumped inside the river. That was a friend of mine. I don't think anybody will accept a script in order to die. I don't ever think anybody could have scripted that.  

"If it was scripted, we would make sure that the lightning, the angles at which we shot was right. The dark pictures and angles at which it was shot is an evidence that it was not scripted.  

"As soon as I wake up and I am ready to go out, they clip something in my jacket to record every conversation that I made through out the day. There's nothing hidden."

I hear it all boils down to money; the babe wants money from the show, Jim is not ready to give her. Lolz!

Most of you have read the story, but just to remind you. On Tuesday April 30th, a 25 year old bricklayer named Akinloye Anuoluwapo slit his ex-girlfriend's throat, a 21year old girl named Rafiyat Akinyemi, then had s-ex with her as she bled to death in her father's house at Ogijo in Ogun state. 

The girl had dumped him and that was too much for him to take. He went to her house armed with a knife and attacked her. Akinloye (pictured above) explains what led to the killing... 

On April 29, I missed her call, and in annoyance, she sent me series of annoying text messages, warning me not to call her or come to her house. I had once sent a message to her, appealing that she should not abandon me because I was disowned by my parents because of her, saying that I would commit suicide if she did. In reference to that message, she said I could die for all she cared, saying that my exit would create more enjoyment for the living, including herself.

Revealing how he met Judith, Bolton Mazagwu said: 

“I worked a while in Lagos before I relocated to USA. I came for holidays with my siblings and my uncle arranged for me to get a wife. There were three ladies he wanted me to meet and choose from. On my way to check out these ladies, I met Judith, my ex-wife. Because I like fair complexioned ladies, I took her in my car and we got talking. She told me that her name was Sandra, which I later found out was false. She told me she was a student of IMT, Enugu, which was also false. She never enrolled at IMT. When I offered to drive her to her home, she told me she was staying with her uncle. I discovered that the said uncle was her boyfriend. My friend at Onitsha, Omoba, revealed these to me.
