If you are smart do not apply for a law enforcement job, your bid will be rejected. A man whose bid to become a police officer was rejected after he scored too high on an intelligence test has lost an appeal in his federal lawsuit against the city who rejected his application. The second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld the lower court decision that the city did not discriminate against Robert Jordan because the same rules apply to everyone who took the test. New York does not hire police officers that are too smart, as they claim that the very smart do not hold on to their police jobs.

"This kind of puts an official face on discrimination in America against people of a certain class," Jordan said today from his home in Waterford. "I maintain that a person has no more control over their basic intelligence than their eye color or gender or anything else."  He said he did not plan to take any further legal action.

The disagreement between Vector and his label started a few months back after the rapper complained about his progress-rate and the label's nonchalant attitude towards his career and simply suggested more professional hands be employed to help his career, which the label took as a threat, and when they refused to heed to his suggestions, Vector hired hands he was paying personally.

Residents from various parts of Lagos have been coming to catch a glimpse of a baby allegedly born with a miniature Quran at 9, Oguntade Street, Shasha area of the state. (crowd at the residence where the baby was born)

Incidents like these are scientifically impossible, but residents of the area say it is true even though some of them confessed that they did not see the baby clutching the miniature Quran, the holy book of the Muslims. They were only told about it.

It took efforts for P.M.NEWS reporters to gain access into the one-room apartment of the baby’s parents as a result of the crowd that took over the place.

Italian designers Dolce&Gabbana jailed 1 year and 8 months for tax evasion

Italian fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the men behind fashion power house, Dolce & Gabbana were today June 19th sentenced to one year and eight months in prison by an Italian court after being found guilty of tax evasion. They were also fined €500,000.

The multimillionaire designers were accused of hiding millions of euros from Italian tax authorities, charges they deny and have said they intend to appeal against any conviction.

Italian authorities are accusing them of moving their brand to a Luxembourg-based holding company Gado - in 2004, so they could avoid declaring taxes on royalties of about 1 billion euros.

The Italian authorities have been investigating the designers for about six years now and they were actually cleared of tax evasion/fraud charges at a previous trial in April 2011 but Italy's highest court overturned that ruling, ordering that the case be sent back to trial.

Their sentences have been suspended pending their appeal.

Neurological doctors treating Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State in the United States have told his family and their state government footing his medical bills the governor cannot return to normalcy state of mental health that could enable him to function as a governor. Mr. Suntai first received treatment at the famous John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, before moving to a rehabilitation center in upstate New York, both of which may have reportedly given up on the chances of full recovery of Mr. Suntai. In October 2012, he survived an aircrash near Yola Airport and was flown to Germany for treatment for brain injuries. A medical source told SaharaReporters that whenever Mr. Suntai was brought in from Germany, he'd swelling in his brain and had lost significant control of his ability to identify people or speak coherently. The origin also described the governor as drooling such as a baby.

Shameless: Married Female Teacher Arrested For Having S-éx With Her Students

A teacher who turned herself in to police Monday is accused of séx crimes against at least two students at the high school where she used to work.

Denise Keesee, a 38-year-old math and special education teacher at a High School in Oregon, has been charged with six counts of second-degree séx abuse for inappropriate relationships with multiple students allegedly dating back to 2006.

Police allege that Keesee had séx with the boys at separate times during school hours. Some of the alleged encounters took place at school, and others occurred at the teacher's home and at the boys' homes. According to Detective Robert Rookhuyzen of the Washington County sheriff's office, none of the victims came forward willingly.

Mrs Jimoh Mulikat Adebukola and her six-year-old twins were caught at Lagos Airport carrying 4.050 kg of substance confirmed as cocaine. She concealed 3.350kg in almost every part of her body, including on her breast and underwear.    She also used her innocent six years old twins to carry about 700 grammes of the illicit drugs. Spokesman of the NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju, quoted Mrs Jimoh as saying:  “I have problem of my children’s school fees. I have six children and I intend to give them good education. I also have younger ones and aged parents to take care of. They asked me to swallow the drugs, but I was afraid, that is why I packed them in my body.”

Now that she is going to prison, how will she pay the school fees? People really need to be wise!

The world champion Serena Williams, is being heavily criticised for blaming rape victim

The world champion is being heavily criticized over remarks she made about the victim of the Steubenville Ohio rape case. A 16-year-old girl who was raped by high school football players, Trent Mays and Ma'Lik Richmond, who were each sentenced to a year in juvenile jail in March this year.

During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Serena blamed the girl for putting herself in a position where the boys could rape her. She said:

"Do you think it was fair, what they got? (The high school football player) They did something stupid, but I don't know. I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you: Don't take drinks from other people. She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously, I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly named their daughter Kaidence Donda West.

The reality TV star gave birth to the couple’s first child on Saturday (15.06.13) in Los Angeles, California, and a loose-lipped nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the hospital where she had her baby, has allegedly revealed their new arrival’s name.

According to gossip website MediaTakeOut.com, Kim and Kanye have settled on calling their daughter Kaidence, which would follow the Kardashian family tradition of naming daughters with the letter ‘K’.
