Nigeria And Israel Sign Aviation Deal - Now Nigerians Can Fly To Holy Land Directly!



Nigeria and Israel signed a bilateral aviation deal, the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA), that enables airlines from both countries to fly directly to one another without stopovers. Before this agreement was signed, Nigerians, including Christian Pilgrims, traveling to  Israel had endure several flight changes, JNS.org reports the agreement has been inked during a trip of the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to Israel.

The real question is, can a city ever be termed as being ‘completed’ or ‘finished’? Talk less of a 35 year old Abuja built from scratch by Nigerians-a city without any colonial heritage unlike the coastal, unplanned and exploitative West African cities that the British left behind as at independence.

Davido & The HKN crew Land in London For The OBO UK Tour (Photos)



 The Omo Baba Olowo himself popularly known as Davido is presently in the UK. This tour is his 1st in the United Kingdom. The show is slated to be hosted by Eddie Kadi, Davido can get support from acts like UK Afrobeat stars Mr Sliva, Lola Rae, Mo Eazy and YFS, and Davido's very own HKN gang; Sina Rambo and B-Red. The tour set to commence with a huge concert in London Indigo2 Sunday the 15th of September, and goes round majors cities including Birmingham, Manchester, and Liverpool.

4 ships with 350 migrants from Nigeria, Ghana, and others land in Italy -




ROME (AFP) – Four boats carrying more than 350 migrants including Egyptians and Syrians have landed in Italy, officials said Monday, the latest arrivals due to the growing unrest in north Africa.
Ninety-nine people including 17 women and 11 children arrived on one boat that was intercepted by coastguard vessels and taken to Catania in Sicily.
The migrants said they were from Syria and Egypt.
“Some of us are escaping from Egypt because there are people who lost relatives after the fall of (deposed Islamist president Mohamed) Morsi,” one migrant was quoted as saying by Italian news agency ANSA.

Seun Kuti expecting baby with girlfriend, Grand Daughter Oba of Egbeda Land, Yetunde Ademiluyi



30 year old Seun Kuti, the son of late legendary Afrobeat musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, will soon become a father and this is authoritative. Seun and his longtime girlfriend, who is also one of his dancers and back up singers, Yetunde Ademiluyi, are expecting a baby. Yetunde is already showing. Yetunde (pictured above with Seun) is the grand daughter of prominent Lagos monarch Oba of Egbeda Land, Samseen Alade Balogun's second wife, Oloori Patricia. Yetunde has been part of Seun's band, Egypt 80, for over five years.

Turai Floors Patience Over Abuja Land Dispute



An Abuja High Court has set aside the  revocation order issued by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Sen. Bala Mohammed on a plot of land allocated to  Hajia Turai Yar’ Adua, wife of late President Umaru  Yar Adua.
Justice Peter Affen voided the revocation order issued by the FCT Minister,  Bala Mohammed on the plot of land given to Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation.
The court held that the claim by the FCT Minister that the land was revoked on an overriding public interest was not supported by any shred of evidence before the court.
The court held that the initial letter of offer issued to the wife of the late president by the Minister remained valid and subsisting.

Asst Coach Daniel Amokachi - Officer of the Order of Niger. N5m. Plot of land in Abuja
Asst Coach Ike Shorumu - Officer of the Order of Niger. N5m. Plot of land in Abuja
Captain Joseph Yobo - Officer of the Order of Niger. N5million. Plot of land in Abuja
Super Eagles players - Member of the Order of Niger. N5million. Plot of land in Abuja
Technical crew - N2 million 

Billionaire businessmen Tony Elumelu and Jim Ovia donated half a million dollars each to the Super Eagles, while Dangote donated N5m to each player and technical crew of the Super Eagles.
