Davido and manager Asa Asika part ways
After almost two years of working together, Davido, 20, and his manager Asa Asika, 22, (center) have parted ways. They reportedly ended their working relationship a few days back but none of them have said anything about it yet, though they've both changed their Twitter bios. I'm trying to find out what really happened between these two as there are a few versions of what led to their break up. One version claims that Asa was dropped because Davido has become too big an artist for him (Asa) to handle. Another version claims Davido assaulted Asa over money.
I don't know the real story but I plan to ask Davido when I see him at Funmi Iyanda's show tomorrow. E Don Happen. Hehe

Let me go back to how my husband and I got here. I have four kids. The initial plan was for us to have just two. The third child was unplanned. And just seven months after I gave birth to my third child I became pregnant again though I was on birth control. My last pregnancy made me so depressed that I contemplated having an abortion several times. My doctor talked me out of it.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s forecast for 2013
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye yesterday January 1st released his annual prophesies for the year 2013.
Pastor Adeboye told his congregation at Redemption Camp that 2013 will be better than last year but explained that there could be more devastating natural disasters like flood if necessary precautionary measures are not taken soonest to avert such calamities.
According to Pastor Adeboye, before the middle of the year, many Nigerians will have reason to say hope rising, adding however, that prayers and supplication be intensified.
He told the crowd of worshippers that God spared the lives of certain individuals in the country last year because of intercessory prayers of the saints, noting “the prayers of some of you minimized death of prominent Nigerians last year, don’t stop praying.”
Speaking on the prophecies for individual Nigerians, Pastor Adeboye said, “No matter the darkness around you, your star will shine brighter.
“God says, He will speak peace to your storms; Certain individuals have been stagnated for sometimes, the reasons for your stagnation will become known, will be addressed and will be eliminated, therefore progress will follow.”
Continuing on the individual category, Pastor Adeboye said in many senses of the word, this year will be of completeness.
On the international platform, the cleric said prominent world leaders need a lot of prayers so as not to die in office. In addition, he said prominent Church leaders need prayers against planned scandals, even as he said that weather conditions may get worst, much worst, unless prayers are intensified.
But there is a cheery news when Adeboye said: “We should expect a major breakthrough in medicine this year,” concluding that nations who pass unholy laws will have a taste of divine fury.
Earlier in a brief sermon titled; “Preparing for a year of signs and wonders”, he outlined certain principles to enable one tap into heavenly reservoir of the miraculous.
According to him, this year will be a better year than the just ended one, maintaining that the principles must include praise and worship of God, putting God first before any other consideration; evangelism; control the fullness of your joy, pointing out that one who is close to God can control even the weather around him.

A young girl has allegedly committed suicide by throwing herself out of her window after meeting a young man on the internet who was charged with abetting her suicide, according to the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance. The girl was reportedly very shy, barely speaking to her parents and rarely ever leaving her room in which she was constantly at the computer. Vilimiayi Chimedza (28) was playing pool at Happy Bar when a man identified only as Mpofu came and took the pool balls and put them into the pool table pocket before walking away. This angered Chimedza who confronted Mpofu demanding an explanation. Chimedza received a smack in the face before Mpofu picked up an empty beer bottle and hit Chimedza on the back of the head with the bottle and it broke and he remained with a sharp part of the bottle in his hand as he walked out of the bar.

Mysterious Arabic Inscription Causes Commotion In Lagos
There was pandemonium at the Ebule Ero end of the Lagos Island in the early hours of today following the sudden appearance of an Islamic inscription. Local media report that the Arabic inscription mysteriously appeared overnight on the floor of the Lagos Island Local Government Ebute Ero Welfare Association Market. As thousands of people struggled to either watch or bow to the inscription. Five people fainted due to the rowdiness of the place while many hoodlums seized the opportunity to steal and commit petty crimes.
Ebute Ero Police Division, which is adjacent to the place was helpless as there were fears that any attempt to disperse the mammoth crowd could cause disaster. As at the time of this report, the mystery behind the inscription was yet to be figured out.

Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins spent Christmas with visits to hospitals and orphanages in Lagos. The 28 year old footballer, on behalf of his foundation gave gifts to three hospitals and orphanages. Obagoal spent about N10million on hospital bills for new born babies at Island Maternity hospital.

Nigerian captain Joseph Yobo visited the children at Hearts of Gold Children's hospice in Surulere to make donations and spend some time with the children.
