If there is one person that knows his entertainment onions well, it is Alariwo of Africa. Originally named Rotimi Martins, he hails from Edo State and is married to Sola from Ondo State, with whom they have three children. Ondo people are a very cultural people and I love the state; it is a very peaceful place. I thought to do the show and see how interesting it turns out to be.

The show/event is called Laugh and Dance; so, it is a combination of music and comedy. It is better for me to take it to Ondo State so that they can have their fun. Also, I went on a visit to Ondo and realised that the entertainment setting is growing, so I felt that I should contribute my own quota to it as well.

I am longer comfortable with my wife and it is affecting our marriage. My wife used to be on the plump side. It was one of the things I fell in love with her. She typified the traditional African woman, who has the curves in the right places.

She didn’t add too much after our two children. At any rate, I wouldn’t have noticed because I was really crazy about her shape. I also didn’t hide this from her.

When some of her friends were harping on slim being the in-thing now, I warned her not to follow the trend; assured her she wasn’t fat, but just right for an ideal woman. Unfortunately, she seems not to believe me because sometime last year she enrolled in a gym. She told me it was to maintain her figure. I grudgingly allowed her to continue but warned her against being slim.

Now I can hardly recognise the woman I married as she is all bones. When I protested, she said it was the in-thing among her friends; that she doesn’t want to lose her husband. I reminded her that she doesn’t have problems with me on that score; that I want her the way she was.

Amosu created a design which takes its inspiration from the Superman style signature and hand crafted it from 18ct solid white gold weighing approximately 48gsm of solid gold centred by a single flawless deep cut white diamond weighing 19cts. “People make funerals a show-off, from the coffin to what family members wear. It is sad to see how our people are doing such things; we need to stop this trend,” said seminar organiser Bishop Makhosi Ngcoza.

Having a relationship with a musician is one of the most challenging situations to be in. There are things you have to deal with; a lot of women, intruders, fans. You have to appreciate and respect the fans, but you also have some of them who are thinking of other things. I think it’s one of the most challenging relationships one can have.

You won’t even spend much time with your partner because he’s on the road most of the time doing shows and concerts; even during holidays like Christmas, Easter and New Year, they are not around. So I’m not really enjoying that part. But I thank God that we are managing it very well.

Spanish Police Smash Edo State Voodoo Prostitution Gang

Spanish police said Sunday [Jun 2] they had broken up a ring that smuggled in women from Nigeria and forced them into street prostitution by burning them with irons and using voodoo rituals.
 Police arrested six Nigerian nationals, including the suspected woman ringleader, as part of an investigation launched last year after one of the prostitutes filed a complaint with the authorities.

“The control exercised over women was total, involving verbal threats as well as physical violence and various voodoo ceremonies to terrorise them,” police said in a statement. “The ring caused them serious injury through bites or by using an iron to cause second-degree burns.”
