The world's oldest marathon runner ran his last race on Sunday at the age of 101.
Fauja Singh finished the Hong Kong Marathon's 10-kilometer (6.25-mile) race in 1 hour, 32 minutes, 28 seconds.

I dated Charles for a few years before I proposed to him to marry me, else I would leave. He was getting too comfortable with just dating me because marriage wasn’t really on his mind. You know, he hasn’t been lucky in that department. During my first visit to Nigeria, I met his wonderful family and it was clear he was coming from a very strict Christian background. His family was a very spiritual one with high sense of morality and values, there was no way some of that wouldn’t have robbed off on Charles. I just fell in love with him and his close nit family. Since then, they have been ever so kind and loving to me. I just thank God.I love her. I think women should start giving ultimatums to their men...especially if they are of marriageable age. Mrs Christianah Ibeh, a trader, who lives at 25, Irebawa Street, Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos, told the court that since her husband started living with her, she had been the one providing for him.
”The mistake I ever made was allowing Monday (her husband) to live with me when he had accommodation problem,” the applicant regretted.

Now playing in his sixth Africa Cup of Nations and having starred in 91 games for Nigeria — the record appearance by a Nigerian player — Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, looks ahead to the future, saying he has only two years to spend in the national team.
The Rivers-born defender has seen it all in the Eagles- injuries, criticisms, praises and rebuke- since making his debut in 2001 and moving on to become Nigeria’s most capped footballer ever.
“This is my sixth Nations Cup appearance and it’s a great achievement. I did not know that I would get this far in my career. I have had bad injuries and I thank God that I am out of it now,” the 32-year-old said.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has admitted Roman Abramovich is ‘frustrated’ at the club’s form in an email reply to a fan who demanded the Chelsea board sack Rafa Benitez.
Benitez has been interim manager at Stamford Bridge since Roberto Di Matteo was axed in November but Blues fans have staged protests against the Spaniard’s appointment from the start.
Supporter Dan Silver, in an email to Buck which has been posted on the SweetFA football forums website, criticised Benitez for his views on Chelsea during his time as Liverpool boss and the job he has done since arriving in west London.

Wife Cuts Husband’s Nose And Hand On New Year's Eve
A woman was arraigned in court for the charges of assault after slashing her husband’s hand and nose with a machete on New Year’s Eve.
The court heard that on 31st December last year at Sipili Trading Center, Esther Nyokabi was at her home in the evening and her husband Daniel Githura arrived late after a drinking spree. Nyokabi who was waiting for him started an argument.

52-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth After 25 Years Marriage
At 52, when some women have already become grandmothers, the case of Mrs. Olukorede Obamo, a teacher in Ogun State, is different. Olukorode who got married 25 years ago just had her first child last week. Like other women in that kind of position, she had visited hospitals, herbal centres and countless other places; yet to no avail. Woman Continues To Feed & Talk To Husband 3 Years After His Death
According to Russian officials, an unidentified woman kept her husband’s corpse for 3 years, feeding and talking to it, in the hopes that it might resurrect. Prosecutors in the central Yaroslavl region said the unidentified woman, described as a devout Pentecostal Christian with a psychiatric record, was so distraught when her husband died of natural causes in 2009 that she believed he “was bound to resurrect.”
