Pr-ôstitutes Go Wild As Their Pímps Set Free [PHOTOS]
Two pr-ôstitutes cheered loudly and burst into tears of relief Wednesday when their pimps were acquitted of s-ex trafficking charges. The father-son pimp team of Vincent George Sr. and Vincent George Jr. was accused of brutalizing pr-ôstitutes who worked the streets of Manhattan for them, but the women were devoted to their “daddies” and even testified on their behalf at the nonjury trial.
When Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ruth Pickholz ruled the Georges were not guilty of s-ex trafficking, Danielle Geissler, 31, and Desiree Ellis, 24, released cries of uncontrollable joy — and had to be told to stop.
The pimps could have faced up to 25 years behind bars under a relatively new state law. In order to be guilty, there would have to be sufficient evidence that threats of violence were at play or that even one victim feared for her health and safety or for their immigration status.

MASSOB Gives SSS 48Hrs To Free Detained Leader
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has threatened to take action against the State Security Services, SSS, if its regional leader for Awka North, Mr. Tony Nwodo, was not released from custody within 48 hours.
MASSOB, which did not state exactly what form of action it would take if its demand is not met within the stipulated time frame it gave, however told the SSS to accept responsibility for what ever action the group might take.
Mr. Uchenna Madu, who is MASSOB’s Director of Information, yesterday disclosed that the SSS arrested and detained Nwodo since last Tuesday on the allegation that he impersonated the Governor of Anambra State – Mr. Peter Obi.
He warned that the organization would take any action it deemed fit if Nwodo was not released immediately.

Rlg Communications Nigeria Limited, an Information and Communications Technology products manufacturing and training company is providing free commuter ride on the Bus Rapid Transit system of the Lagos State Government on special buses designated to ply selected routes within the metropolis for 30 days.
