Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is now the 43rd richest man in the world, according to the Richest People in the World list Forbes released yesterday. Dangote moved from 76th with a net worth of $11.2billion in 2012 to 43rd with a net worth of $16.1bn as of March 2013. So he made about $5billion in one year! Choi!

Dangote is still the richest man in Africa. The other Nigerian billionaire on the Forbes Billionaires list is single Paddy Adenuga's dad, Global chairman Mike Adenuga, who ranked 269 with a net worth of $4.7bn.

Mexican telecoms tycoon Carlos Slim is the world's richest man with a net worth of $73bn, while Bill Gates is the second with a net worth of the $67bn. 3rd is Armancio Ortega of Spain ($57bn), 4th is Warren Buffet ($53.5bn), and 5th is Larry Ellison with $43bn net worth.

This is terrible... tragic and terrible...A 10 day old infant newborn was killed when her mother, who was reportedly high on drugs, threw the baby into the washing machine where the baby died after going through an entire washing machine cleansing cycle.

The infant, Maggie May Trammel, was found by her great aunt, who was inside the Oklahoma home and went looking for the infant after she found her mother passed out on the sofa.

According to The NY Daily News, the great-aunt heard a clunking noise coming from the washing machine. When she opened it, she found the newborn dead.

Abia University Withdraws Kalu’s Bachelor’s Degree Certificate

The Senate of the Abia State University (ABSU) has approved the cancellation and withdrawal of the degree result and certificate awarded to former Governor of the state, Orji Uzor Kalu, for violation of the institution’s academic regulations.

The Senate, in a press statement signed by the University Registrar/Secretary to the Senate, Ernest Onuoha, said the decision of the institution was based on the violation of the Academic Regulations of the university on Admission – by –Transfer, which rendered the offer irregular, ab initio and non –completion of the mandatory six semesters (three academic years of study)

20-year-old Alicia Gaston, of North Fairmount, Cincinnati, Ohio, has been charged with rape following the accusation that she had s*x with her boyfriend’s 7-year-old son.  According to information gathered , Gaston confessed to engaging in s*xual intercourse with the child. She was held on $75,000 bond and also ordered to stay away from the boy.

A woman suddenly found herself being chased down by several police cars.  Instead of stopping her vehicle for the police at the side of the road, she decided to call 911 to report that suspicious vehicles with flashing lights are pursuing her.   The dispatcher told her to stop immediately, but she refused, and began to speed away. A Colorado mom finds herself facing several felony charges stemming from what police say was a s"xual affair with her son’s 15-year-old friend. Wendy Crowell, 37, was married at the time of the alleged three-week fling last summer, which the boy later admitted to his mother. Crowell, of Grand Junction, faces five counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and five counts of s"xual assault, The Daily Sentinel reported, one count for each time the pair reportedly had s"x.

Crowell told the boy to “pretend to be 18 for the night,” an arrest affidavit said, during s"xual encounters in Crowell’s bedroom and her vehicle, which she allegedly parked at the end of a cul-de-sac.

The boy’s mother had “a gut feeling” something was up and looked through her son’s phone, where she reportedly found incriminating text messages, including one where the pair wrote they loved each other.

Free on a $10,000 bond, Crowell denies the charges.

A Texas man raped a teenage girl to avenge a similar attack by her family member on one of his relatives years earlier, police said.

Charles Andrew Capps, 21, from New Caney, reportedly confessed to cops he assaulted the 14-year-old after sending her lewd photos via Facebook.

It was, he said, a calculated revenge for an alleged similar assault on his own 14-year-old relative five years ago.

]Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable's Office first heard about the incident in January, reports the Houston Chronicle.That was when the girl's mom told them a man was sending the teen inappropriate pictures through the social networking site.

Hundreds of Michigan residents -- and others -- may have been infected with HIV by a man who told police he’d been on a three-year mission to transmit the disease to as many people as he could, MSNBC reports.

Police arrested David Dean Smith, 51, last week after he turned himself in -- and admitted he had unprotected sex with "thousands" of partners with the intention of killing them by infecting them with the virus.

Only two possible victims have yet been identified.
