It was a drama of sorts during the verification exercise of primary school teachers’ certificates in Edo State on Tuesday as one of the teachers in the state, Mrs. Augusta Odemwingie, could not read a sworn affidavit she tendered as part of her credentials.

Mrs. Odemwingie teaches at Asologun Primary School, Ikpoba Okha local government area of Benin City, Governor Adams Oshiomhole, who paid an unscheduled visit to the State Staff Training Centre venue of the exercise was appalled that a teacher could not read, saying “if you can’t read, what do you teach the pupils? What do you write on the board?”

 Ex-minister Femi Fani Kayode mentioned names of three former Igbo girlfriends in an article he wrote a few days back to prove he wasn't tribalistic and has nothing against the Igbos. People felt mentioning their names was disrespectful to the women. He has apologized. Find his statement below 

'Chief Femi Fani-Kayode hereby expresses his deepest regrets for mentioning the names of three distinguished Nigerian ladies that he was once associated with in his last article titled ''A Word For Those Who Say I am A Tribalist''. He meant no harm by doing so and neither did he at any point make references to having had any sexual relations with any of these ladies when they were associated with him as is being suggested by some members of the public. Surveillance cameras captured the moment every door at a maximum-security jail wing in Florida swung open and released a flock of violent criminals, who ganged up and attacked another inmate with vicious homemade knives.  

The inmate was forced to jump over a railing and fall one story to escape his assailants, who are believed to be members of a rival gang in the Miami neighborhood of Liberty City. (The shirtless guy is the one who was attacked) Continue reading.

The police, according to our source, were said to have sent signals about the stolen vehicle with registration number EX 421 ABJ after it was reported at the Garki Police Station to have been removed from where it was parked by the wife of the car’s owner.
The source added that, few days later, the owner of the stolen vehicle received a call from one Simon in Kubwa that two men, who claimed that the owner of the vehicle was sick had wanted to raise money by selling the car.

35-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Having Regular $-ex With 11-Year-Old Son

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with 20 counts of rape and sodomy after she allegedly had an eight-month s-exual relationship with an 11-year-old boy. Sarah Beth Hopkins, from Salem, was arrested on Sunday after the parents of her alleged victim reported her to police. The boy, now 12, confessed to his mother he had been s-exually active with Hopkins for the last eight months. When Hopkins was confronted she allegedly admitted the s-exual abuse. The family lived at the same apartment complex as Hopkins - who was seen as a trusted family friend - until about two weeks ago. The mother became suspicious of their close friendship and the amount of time they spent together.
