You may say I'm being paranoid,but at least hear me out. I think I need spiritually sound Ọmọ Oódua to advise me correctly...
I got a new househelp recently cos I needed help after I delivered about 6 weeks ago. The problem is that I'm not very comfortable with her. The night b4 she came,I dreamt of an evil bird that flew into our home. 2 days later,I dreamt of a predatory dog that came into our house at night.I don't usually dream such dreams. Yesterday,a cat we don't know where it came from was heard crying in the engine of our car just bought 3 days ago.

The cat was found and ran out. As soon as I set my eyes on her as she stepped out of d car when my husband brought her for the first time,I had an uneasy feeling. Maybe because of my dream the previous night,I don't know. I had actually prayed dt morning for God to stop her from coming if she was not d right person,but here she was already in my house.

The killer of a pregnant bride the day before her wedding warned that he will continue to kill pregnant women every week, according to police.  The demon that killed a pregnant Brooklyn, New York, bride-to-be left a note under her dead body promising that more expectant mothers will die unless "The DC sniper" is released from jail, police sources told a local New York newspaper.

The single-page, computer-printed message was discovered Saturday after police were called to the blood splattered basement apartment in Flatbush of Vindalee Smith, 38, after she had been stabbed and her throat cut.

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has threatened to take action against the State Security Services, SSS, if its regional leader for Awka North, Mr. Tony Nwodo, was not released from custody within 48 hours.

MASSOB, which did not state exactly what form of action it would take if its demand is not met within the stipulated time frame it gave, however told the SSS to accept responsibility for what ever action the group might take.

Mr. Uchenna Madu, who is MASSOB’s Director of Information, yesterday disclosed that the SSS arrested and detained Nwodo since last Tuesday on the allegation that he impersonated the Governor of Anambra State  – Mr. Peter Obi.

He warned that the organization would take any action it deemed fit if Nwodo was not released immediately.

Four Presidents, Archbishop of Canterbury for Achebe’s burial

Anambra State Government on Tuesday said four Heads of State and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Rev. Justin Welby, would be attending the burial of the literary icon, Prof. Chinua Achebe, at Ogidi.

The burial of Achebe, 82, who died in the United States on March 21, holds on Thursday.

Secretary to the Government of Anambra State, Mr. Oseloka Obaze, confirmed the coming of the foreign dignitaries on Tuesday while briefing reporters on Achebe’s burial arrangements.

Obaze said President John Mahama of Ghana would be joining President Goodluck Jonathan and two other heads of state, whose attendance has been secured but awaiting final confirmation at the burial.

Flight Cancellation: Court Awards Passenger ₦5 million

A Federal High Court, Lagos, on Tuesday awarded N5m to a passenger, Hakeem Ogunniran, as damages for the cancellation of his flight from South Africa to Lagos without compensation by Air Nigeria.

The plaintiff had alleged that though he had booked for Air Nigeria Business Class ticket, he eventually took the Economy Class of South African Airways following the cancellation.Justice Okon Abang, in his judgment held that the airline’s negligence caused business and financial losses as well as emotional trauma and stress to the passenger.

I recently read the article where the writer said, “He says he’s unhappy, but I can’t let him go, he’s my world.”

I’m struggling with what I fear is a similar issue. My boyfriend of two years says he loves me and wants to marry me and have children, but every time we discuss marriage he brings up problems and says he’s not happy. Finally, I put my foot down and gave the ultimatum, “now or never.” He chose never.

After discussing his choice he recanted and decided we should go to couples counseling. He is a good man and we are happy as long as we don’t discuss marriage. But, I want to be married and have another child! I have a son from a previous marriage and he treats my son like his own, worse my son is completely attached to him and when we temporarily broke things off my young son was in tears for days.

The longest river in China and the third longest river in the world has suddenly turned red for an unknown reason.

The river known as the "Golden Waterway", red is a color rarely seen.

However, that is the shadow appearing on the Yangtze River and officials have no idea why. The red began to appear on the Yangtze, the longest river and largest in China and the third longest river in the world, near the city of Chongqing, where the Yangtze River connects with Jialin.

The Yangtze, called "Golden" because it receives heavy rainfall throughout the year, runs through Chongqing, the largest industrial and commercial center in the southwest of China, also known as the "Mountain City" for the hills and peaks in its many buildings and factories.

The red color stopped some residents in their tracks. They put the river water in bottles for storage. The fishermen and other workers who depend on the river for income proceeded with their business, according to the news media.

While the red color was more pronounced near Chongqing it was also reported in several other places.Authorities are investigating the cause.

1. We (try to) fix things 
It sounds crazy: You've asked us repeatedly to deal with some D.I.Y. project, and when do we tackle it? When you're not even there to see. I'm more inclined to plaster the holes in the playroom (what are they doing up there-jousting?) if my wife, Karel, isn't around to needle me. Also, it helps when "someone" isn't hanging over your shoulder making "helpful" suggestions about how to "apply the plaster in the smoothest possible fashion." Of course, Karel's happy when she comes back to an improved home, but I'm not sure how she'd feel about the rest of my while-you-were-out list...

 I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world. We dated for four years before I married her three years ago. We are blessed with two kids and hoping to have more in the future. My wife is simply the best. She's caring, honest, giving, very respectful and responsible and on top of all that she's drop dead gorgeous. I wish I could show you her pictures to see but that would give me away. I couldn't have asked for a better woman. In fact my biggest prayer is when I return to this planet in another lifetime, I hope I marry the same woman.

40-year-old Maxwell Madu on Monday told the Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court that if his wife, Grace Oguche, 24, divorces him, she may lose her life instantly.

“She had gone to the village to find a way to break the oath [we had], but they told her it could not be broken except I was present. She is playing with her life.”

In a desperate attempt to draw attention to her misfortune, Esther Odozi, 21, bared her breasts on Monday on the premises of Ikeja Magistrate’s Court as she protested against hunger that was “killing her and the five children” she left back home in Agbor Owanta, Delta State.

Odozi laid half-naked on a road in the court shouting, “Hunger, hunger. Government must do something today. I have not received anything from the plenty crude oil money government is spending in our state. Nigerians are wicked.”

She impeded movement on the premises. Passersby were astonished. One of them, who did not state her name but said she was a lawyer, told our correspondent that Odozi abused the “temple of womanhood.”

Odozi shunned passersby who shouted at her to cover herself as she rolled on the ground. She revealed wounds on her left leg and the right side of her hips; she said she was hit by a car. She refused a N500 given to her by a passerby, saying, “I don’t want your money. I want Fashola to give me N200, 000.”
