Man runs amok in Lagos, Stabbing people at sight





Hell was let loose recently in Lagos when a 30-year-old man identified as Kehinde Akinpelu ran amok, armed with a sharp knife, threatening to kill anybody at sight.  The incident which took place at Oloja area of Bariga in Lagos made people living in the street to scamper for safety in different directions.

Unfortunately, a 69-year-old woman, Titilayo Adekoya who lives at number 27 in that street could not escape before the man pounced on her and stabbed her severally.  It took the timely intervention of a team of policemen on patrol and agile neighbours to stop the man from severing her body into pieces.

40 year old actress Gabrielle Union was featured in People Magazine 100 Most Women in the World issue and when asked how stays and looks young, she replied:
"I started drinking a gallon of water a day in my mid-thirties. It changed everything from weight maintenance, to hair, skin, nails and digestion. Plus, I stay younger by dating younger. Dip into the kiddie pool, ladies! It worked for me!

See Village In Abuja where people live inside sack houses



It is one common phenomenon to find makeshift buildings in different rural communities spread across the world, especially those nomadic settlements built with mud or blocks. However, what is not common is a community where the ‘super sacks’ houses are in vogue. In a rural Federal Capital Territory, FCT, a tribe lives inside such sacks as homes. Chris Onokpegu writes.

PHOTO: Man Hunts Crocodile That Has Eaten Over 200 People




For 20 years, near Lake Tanganyika in Burundi, locals have been terrorized by one of the largest freshwater crocodiles in the world.The victims were killed by the crocodile when they were fetching water from rivers. A large number of crocodile eggs were also collected along river banks, meaning that the threat is multiple.
The 25 foot long crocodile, named Gustave, has an insatiable appetite for people. He is known for having eaten over 200 people, though some believe that number to be as high as 300.
