For many years, I couldn’t turn my ringer off on my phones because my mother was very ill. My phone would be on all night. This is tough for me because I’m the type of man who loves to be in pure quiet when I’m home. No TV, no radio, no nothing. Just quiet. Mainly because there is so much noise in my life.

After my mother died in 2009, I started turning my ringer off without the fear ofmissing a very important call. After you lose someone you love, nothing seems very important. So I was at my house in L.A. last year on February 11th, dreading facing February 12th. That would have been my mother’s 67th birthday.

Great idea, but according to ABV it was poorly executed.   ABV says it put in 1,023 hours of work — worth $127,875 — and wants to get paid ASAP.  According to TMZ, Akon was called for comment, and  he said — "Konvict … Muzik."  No further details has suffaced. James Washington thought he was gonna get away with murder. He was already in prison, serving time for a different crime, when he suffered a heart attack.He called the guard on duty and said he had something to get off his conscience. He confessed to the murder of Joyce Goodener, whom he had killed in 1995.

The guard recalled his confession in court, while the man tried to take it back after he survived the heart attack.However, the man was found guilty of the murder and now faces a life sentence. It's a very unusual circumstance, but we're glad that justice was done!

Val’s Day: This years Valentine’s Day did not seem like a day for happiness all-round the national as we’re still counting death from our celebrities. There was confusion in Ado Ekiti on Thursday evening as two undergraduates riding a motorcycle were crushed to death by a truck in front of Okesa Police Station.

The victims were identified as Ebenezer Ayoade, a final year student in the Marketing Department of The Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and   Kayode Ajayi, a 200 level Psychology student at the Ekiti State University.

He enjoyed my free food, free house. I even clothed  him. The most painful aspect of it was that he had me for free, for good seven years.”  With these words, and tears in her eyes, a-35-year-old woman pleaded with an Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court, Lagos to dissolve her marriage.

Mrs Christianah  Ibeh, a trader, who lives at 25, Irebawa Street, Oke-Ira, Ogba, Lagos, told the court that since her husband started living with her, she had been the one providing for him.

”The mistake I ever made was allowing Monday (her husband) to  live with me when he had  accommodation problem,” the applicant regretted.
