A Chinese couple will face years in jail after allegedly trying to sell their daughter to get iPhone 5 for $8 200. The couple placed anonymous advertisements in newspapers suggesting they would be prepared to part making use of their baby after giving birth.

They were charged with human-trafficking. According to Chinese media reports, the amount of money, that have been deposited in couple's bank account, were used to get a brand new iPhone and various other luxury goods.

A housewife in Sapele, Delta State, identified as Oghenero (surname withheld), reportedly got her fingers burnt yesterday, when she allegedly experimented with steal an item of meat from a neighbour's soup pot.

It had been reliably gathered that the lady, a mother of three, gained use of the soup after the neighbour who had been preparing it left it on the fire unattended and went into her room to obtain her GSM phone that was ringing.

 Based on recent reports, students from a a women university rowing club have decided to pose naked in a bid to improve money for charity. The students from Warwick University Rowing Society caused controversy in 2012 when they posed for a risque calender shoot. This new calender  features  17 members of the university's rowing club - aged between 18 and 21 - who is visible frolicking by the River Avon and within their boat house in Barford, Warwickshire.

A complainant, Joy Dominic on Thursday got more than what she bargained for as she broke down in tears at the Upper Customary Court, Daura road, Kaduna, when the court ordered her boyfriend to be remanded in police custody.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Joy had dragged the boyfriend, Mohammed Ashafa to the court for allegedly beating her and “causing grievous hurt&rdq.
