The Carmichaels of Tempe, Arizona, have won the lottery for the second time in under two decades, MyFoxArizona reports. This time it was Diana, rather than her husband Kerry, who bought the $1 million winning Powerball ticket announced last Wednesday. After taxes, the $650,000 winnings will add to a $125,000 annuity they've been receiving since their first lottery win back in 1995. But Diana says they're not done yet.

Award-winning musician, Tuface Idibia, on Sunday said he was yet to decide whether or not to accept the controversial wedding gifts presented to him and his wife on Friday by Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom.

Mr. Akpabio had stunned guests at the wedding of the celebrity couple with the announcement of a donation of two brand new Toyota Prado SUVs to them.

The lucky couple are also to have 29 delegates from Akwa Ibom State attend their star-studded white wedding in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate (UAE)

Nobody Is Above The Law, Obasanjo Says As He Visits FRSC To Pick Up Driver’s Licence

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has declared that nobody is above the law in the collective drive to ensure compliance with traffic rules and regulations in Nigeria.Speaking after processing his driver’s license at the Abuja national headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Obasanjo said, “If I have to drive, I must have a valid driver’s license like others. That informed my visit. We should note that the driver’s licence serves other purposes beyond driving of a vehicle and also useful outside the country such as certification of somebody’s identity.”

He added, “Anybody who wants to be law abiding must go through this process because you cannot be bigger than the law, no matter your political position or social status. You must pass through this process unless you are not ready to be law abiding”.

To say that incarceration of Major Al-Mustapha has been a blessing for inmates in Kirikiri Maximum Prison at Ikoyi is not an overstatement. Though, members of family of the late Gen. Sani Abacha’s Chief Security Officer prayed and wanted their son and breadwinner to be set free and come back home safely. Different strokes, they say for different folks; for Kirikiri prisoners, Major Al-Mustapha is indeed a God-sent to them.

Reason being that ever since he was transferred to Kirikiri, the inmates have been milking from his kindness and directly or indirectly benefiting from those that visit him. Global peace icon and former statesman Nelson Mandela was hospitalised Saturday for a “scheduled medical check-up”, the South African presidency said, months after he underwent treatment for lung infection and gallstones. “Former president Nelson Mandela was admitted to hospital in Pretoria this afternoon, 9 March 2013, for a scheduled medical checkup to manage the existing conditions in line with his age,” said presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj in a statement.
“Doctors are conducting tests and have thus far indicated that there is no cause for any alarm,” he added.

In 2000 and 2012, we increaseed bilateral trade by 40 percent; so, we are making significant progress. But, of course, there is more that needs to be done.

Five days after being rushed to the hospital with stomach pains, Kim Kardashian says she is following her doctor’s orders and resting.  On Tuesday (March 5) the reality star was on a flight home to Los Angeles from Paris, where she had been partaking in Fashion Week, when she began to feel ill.  After being checked out, the pains were deemed a false alarm and Kim was told to cut back on her schedule. Tweeting to her fans, the mom to be said “Thanks for all the well wishes, I’m doing fine! Just resting…”

She also posted a picture of a bouquet of flowers on Saturday (March 9) with the caption “I love my friends & family.”

I need honest and constructive advice from my Beloved Ọmọ Oódua Readers. I have been married for a little over a year now. In the earlier years of our relationship, it seemed as though we shared similar values (still does sometimes) but must importantly, even though I loved him desperately, I knew he loved me even more. Barely a couple of months into our marriage, I fell pregnant. Though it was a fairly easy pregnancy compared to most other horrible experiences I've come across, I was left with zero sex drive. I'd always be quite fit and beautiful but the pregnancy made me feel permanently ill and unattractive and this affected my desire for sex. Despite this, I kept at it knowing fully well that there was another person with needs and desires to be met. Sex stopped being as frequent as before - but it was there.

Between then and now, my husband has become a serial cheat. Keeping late nights everyday with all sorts of women calling even when he finally gets home by 2am.

Governor Akpabio Splashes Prado SUV On 2Face, Annie;  Promises 30-Man Team For Dubai Wedding

Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State has given the newly married celebrity couple, 2Face Idibia and Annie Macaulay a wedding gift.  The governor, who was present at the pre-wedding party held in honour of the couple on Thursday in the state, gave a Prado SUV gift to them on their traditional wedding held yesterday.  He also promised to send a 30-man delegate to Dubai for an exclusive white wedding to be held later in the month for the couple.  The governor has not hidden his affection for 2Face Idibia and his wife, Annie Macaulay, who hails from Akwa-Ibom.  The couple’s wedding is presently one of the most talk about weddings in town.
