Its scientific name is Urechis unicinctus. It is a species of marine spoon worm widely referred to as the fat innkeeper worm or the man-hood fish. It is common in Asia, and a delicacy there. It is called pinyin in Chinese, yumushi in Japanese, and gaebul in Korean. It lives in burrows in sand and mud. Boy Confesses He Staged His Own Abduction
A schoolboy who was feared abducted after he went missing for 26 hours last Friday has confessed to the Royal Oman Police (ROP) that he staged the whole drama out of the fear that his father would punish him if he scored low marks in his 10th grade examinations.
“In his initial statement, the boy had told us that three people had kidnapped him but his version had a lot of contradictions, so we continued asking him and finally he confessed that he had run away and was not kidnapped,” Sulaiman Al Rashidi, head of criminal investigations at the Ruwi police station, said in a statement sent to Gulf News.
Al Rashidi added that there had been a lot of ambiguity associated with the case from the outset. The police had taken the boy, Noel Sam Abraham, to a hospital for treatment soon after he was ‘found’ not far from the spot where he had earlier been reported missing by his father Abraham Samuel.
Wonders Shall Never End: How Head Teachers Run Public Schools On N600 Per Term
It is more than a year since the Enugu State commissioner for education, Dr. Simon Ortuanya promised that primary schools would be receiving N25, 000 (twenty five thousand naira) as subvention per term, however, online information portal, DailyPost, has revealed that no school has received such money.
Yet, the budgetary allocation to education in the state has increased from 2012 to date. The commissioner had told journalists in January 2012 that all primary school heads in the state would be receiving the subvention to enable them attend to critical needs of their schools. According to him: “On the part of the headmasters, instead of N600 or N1000, per month, government has now said they will be receiving N25, 000 subvention every term. With this, they can buy chalk, repair leaking roof, and solve other things without putting pressure on the pupils”.

'How can a Governor I've only seen on TV buy me a car?" - Nuella Njubigbo
"When I read that a governor bought me my new car, I was annoyed by it but later found it funny. I've never met the said governor before. I've not even seen him from a distance. I've only seen him on TV and newspapers. So how can a man I've only seen on TV buy me a car? You know, people will always talk but the truth is, I don't know that man. And about my parents hearing about it, they know me. I don't lie to them so it wasn't an issue. They understand that lies like this come with the job. I love this job and this is the sacrifice I have to make. And the man in life also knows me very well, he didn't even for once ask me if the story of me dating a south south governor was true. That's my car. He knows how I got it. I didn't have to prove anything to him for a second." - actress Nuella Njubigbo

Mild drama unfolded: As Woman Dramatises Release After 4months in Kirikiri Prison
A mild drama unfolded yesterday at the Female Security Prisons, Kirikiri, Lagos, after a female banker who was released from prison, went wild in jubilation immediately the gates of the prison were flung open for her to go home.
The woman (names withheld) was slammed with a four-month imprisonment, over a two count charge of conniving with some persons to fraudulently withdraw millions of naira from the Okokomaiko branch of a first generation bank, last year.
Immediately she stepped out of the walls that had incarcerated her for months, she looked up to the sky, then to her left and right, apparently to ascertain which direction leads to her home.

Norway The Best Place To Go To Prison On Earth ?
“In the law, being sent to prison is nothing to do with putting you in a terrible prison to make you suffer. The punishment is that you lose your freedom. If we treat people like animals when they are in prison, they are likely to behave like animals. Here, we pay attention to you as human beings.” — Arne Nilsen, Governor of Bastoy Prison, Norway
After reading Erwin James’ beautiful and didactic piece on Bastoy Prison in The Guardian newspaper of the UK on February 25, 2013, I was sunk in reverie. I thought of a scenario where it is possible for a convict to choose where to serve his or her jail term. Imagine a suspect saying: “My Lord, I plead guilty to all the crimes for which I have been charged by the prosecutor. My allocution is however that in sentencing me, temper justice with mercy by sending me to Bastoy Prison in Norway.”
Chai.. Woman: 'My Boyfriend Is The Father Of Our Baby' - Married Woman Confesses
A major controversy is currently threatening the peace of Alagbado, a suburb of Lagos.
A man, Akeem Amodu, and his wife, Awawu Oluyide, are at daggers’ drawn over who the true father of their one-month-old baby girl is. The baby was christened on February 17 but the ceremony wasn’t held in Amodu’s house. Before the date, Awawu had packed her belongings and relocated to the home of her boyfriend with her baby. She claimed her husband was not the true dad of the baby, insisting that she had just returned the baby to the authentic father. But Amodu would have none of that. He is insisting that the baby girl is his daughter.

My Sister Is Pregnant For My Boyfriend
Kate and Karen were stepsisters. While Kate, the elder one, was rude, proud and arrogant, Karen, was the exact opposite - quiet and cultured.
Their parents were fairly wealthy and these sisters had some of the best things their contemporaries could only dream of. As soon as Kate was admitted into the university, her stepfather got her a brand new car to help ease her movement on campus.
Despite the fact that she lacked nothing and had a young boyfriend about the same age with her, Kate still went for older, richer and married men. She paid little or no attention to Brown, her younger boyfriend, who was quite smitten with her but wished she could be a better person.
Mixed reactions trail Genevieve Nnaji’s cleavage baring dress at AMVCA
By Charles Mgbolu
For years, Nollywood power diva, mother of one and award winning actress Genevieve Nnaji or Genny as her close friends call her has maintained a fashion signature that depicted her as a bold, confident, very Miss Independent kind of lady; her dresses were never revealing, her make-up far from over-done, her hair-do and body carriage showed her class as a woman not ready to flirt around; but last weekend at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Genny stunned everyone!!!.

Can You dress Like This Woman ?
It seems there is a bad spirit inspiring respected ladies join the 'bad'-wagon of b0óbs exposing girls.
But what's the craze for showing cleavages among ladies these days that even Hilda Dokubo, an evangelist, couldn't resist the temptation? If she of all people could dress like this to a public function, I wonder the kind of morals she wants to pass to young ladies through her preaching.
