Frank Ocean was recently announced a late addition for performance at the 2013 Grammy where he will come face to face with Chris Brown after their recording studio altercation, as they are both nominees for the for the Best Urban Contemporary Album award.

The Grammy nominated R&B singer yesterday released a blurb on his tumblr page, shedding his perspective on the altercation between him and Chris Brown earlier in the week.

A 44-year-old nurse, who lives at 9, Shodipo Street, Papa Ashafa, Orile Agege, has prayed an Orile Agege Grade ‘B’ Customary Court to end her 25-year-old marriage.

After enduring her husband’s excesses and laziness for years, she thought it was time to move on when she couldn’t take it anymore.

Narrating her ordeal in her evidence-in-chief before the court, Mrs Comfort Oladepo said her husband refused to work for 20 years.

“My husband refused to work for 20 years; so I was the one feeding, paying house rent and clothing the family including my husband”, Comfort stated.

Obesity is an epidemic. We see it all over the news: Overweight people with their heads cut off walking down the street. Fat kids with faces blurred just enough to maybe protect their identity, but not enough to tell if they are actively eating food. You see, we need to see that. Because I swear to God, that is the only way any of us can possibly justify the way we treat and approach obese people. This study found that séx lasted six minutes on average and burned only 21 calories. Actual "séxercise," as one New York Magazine writer found out the hard way, is difficult work. Lady Gaga’s former personal assistant, Jennifer O’Neill is suing the ‘Edge of Glory’ singer for unpaid overtime, news sources recently said.

New details have now emerged that Jennifer even went as far as sleeping in the same bed as the singer/songwriter.

According to radaronline.com, O’Neill claims that: “I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
She continued: “That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone.”

Farouk Lawan showed up on court yesterday to face the music concerning his alleged bribe collection in order to jeopardize the fuel subsidy probe.  The boyish looking speaker was obviously tired before he got to the courthouse and even fell asleep during the proceedings. Unfortunately the judge remanded him to the custody of prisons until February 9th.

Gun control is more than a political issue for President Obama. The commander-in-chief, in a picture snapped last August, showed his mastery of a shotgun while skeet shooting during a Camp David getaway.  

  The White House released the photo Saturday, possibly to muzzle critics who suggested Obama was posturing when he talked about target shooting in an interview with The New Republic magazine.

  The picture of Obama shows him with a literally smoking gun, its barrel pressed against his left shoulder as he pulls the trigger. It was taken on his 51st birthday.  Obama spokesman Jay Carney had no comment Saturday on the timing of the photo’s release, just two days before Obama heads to Minneapolis to discuss his gun control proposals with local law enforcement officials.

USTENBURG, South Africa (AFP) – Supposed underdogs Nigeria downed favourites Ivory Coast 2-1 on Sunday in an absorbing Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final to set up a last-four meeting with Mali.

Sunday Mba grabbed the winner 12 minutes from time after Ivory Coast’s Cheik Tiote had cancelled out Emmanuel Emenike’s first-half opener.

Mba’s strike brought the curtain down on Didier Drogba’s Nations Cup career, sending the African legend home without the title he and his teammates craved.

20 year old Japanese pop star, Minami Minegishi, was made to shave her hair and make a public apology for - wait for this - spending the night with her boyfriend!  Minami, who is a member of popular Japanese girl's band AKB48, made the tearful apology after a gossip magazine in her country printed photos of her leaving her boyfriend's house after spending the night with him. She actually covered her face with surgical mask and a baseball cap, but she was still discovered.

Her band has a strict rule that members are not allowed to be involved in any sexual relations and her group management made her shave her hair, which is a traditional act of contrition in Japan and make an apology video which was posted on the band's website, then Youtube. In the video, Minami said she had been thoughtless and immature and was very sorry. *can't watch*.
