Majek Fashek chained at his home over deteriorating mental health
Majek Fashek is suffering from Schizophrenia according to the doctors taking care of him and his condition is getting really bad. Since he disappeared over the holidays and reappeared in January, he has been uncontrollable. People close to him said he overdid the drugs this time around and his mental illness has deteriorated seriously. People around his neighborhood in Gowon Estate Ipaja now avoid him like a plaque. He walks around talking to himself and sometimes sits at a bus stop around his area playing his guitar while little kids make fun of him. To stop him from roaming around, and maybe hurting himself, sometimes people who care for him chain him at his Ipaja home, especially when he gets really out of control.

New Born Headless Baby Causes Scare In Osun State
In what might be termed ‘stranger than fiction,’ a woman on Saturday gave birth to a headless baby at a mission centre in Sekona community, near Ede, Osun State. It took the intervention of police to control the crowd that had thronged the mission center to catch a glimpse of the mysterious baby.
A section of the crowd initially suspected foul play when they thought that the head of the baby was severed for ritual purpose but when the police took the baby to government hospital Ede for investigation, the crowd that followed up on the matter, were later enlightened following a thorough check on the baby by a doctor, that the birth was a rare case of deformity.
According to police public relation officer in Osun, Folasade Odoro, the dead baby had since been returned to the mother for burial.

The study's authors collected data on 792 "emerging adults" ages 17 to 24, who had been part of a longitudinal survey (meaning scientists followed them through time) in Lucas County, Ohio, which includes the city of Toledo. Two women caused a stir at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) in Zimbabwe when they sought a Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) test following a dispute over a four-year-old child which they both claimed to be theirs.
