Award-winning rapper, Ice prince, has dismissed media reports suggesting that he has turned down a lucrative endorsement deal with Globacom.

Online reports suggested over the weekend that the rapper, real name, Panshak Zamani, had snubbed a multi-million naira deal with the telecommunications giant.

“Chocolate City’s management have moved quickly to deny the reports saying there is no truth in the matter."

"We were just as surprised as anybody when we read the news of  Ice Prince "purportedly" turning down "the offer" , especially since it isnt true,” said Tobi Sanni-Daniel, Ice Prince’s business manager.

Galatasary of Turkey and Elephant of defender, Emmanuel Eboue, who had boasted that his country will eat the Super Eagles of Nigeria like ‘super fried chicken’ when they meet on Sunday in one of the quarter final matches in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations holding in South Africa, has apologised for his comments.

New Born Headless Baby Causes Scare In Osun State

In what might be termed ‘stranger than fiction,’ a woman on Saturday gave birth to a headless baby at a mission centre in Sekona community, near Ede, Osun State. It took the intervention of police to control the crowd that had thronged the mission center to catch a glimpse of the mysterious baby.

A section of the crowd initially suspected foul play when they thought that the head of the baby was severed for ritual purpose but when the police took the baby to government hospital Ede for investigation, the crowd that followed up on the matter, were later enlightened following a thorough check on the baby by a doctor, that the birth was a rare case of deformity.

According to police public relation officer in Osun, Folasade Odoro, the dead baby had since been returned to the mother for burial.

Suffolk, UK - A video emerged recently of a woman going on a rant to patients in a hospital waiting room. The two-minute clip, filmed on Saturday night at Ipswich Hospital in Suffolk, saw the woman shout abuse at students Gina Thompson, 23, of Nigeria, and her 21-year-old Spanish friend. The woman asked them where they came from before saying: "You're coming over here and you're pleading poverty. We are paying taxes, you a**holes, and we are going down in this crisis."

Having séx with an ex seems to be a fairly typical part of the breakup process for young adults, a new study shows. But the behavior could be risky, pushing former partners into emotionally complicated territory where safe-séx measures are likely to be cast aside, researchers say.

The study's authors collected data on 792 "emerging adults" ages 17 to 24, who had been part of a longitudinal survey (meaning scientists followed them through time) in Lucas County, Ohio, which includes the city of Toledo. All had been in a relationship within the past two years. The researchers found that nearly half (44 percent) had broken up and gotten back together with a girlfriend or boyfriend.

Two women caused a stir at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) in Zimbabwe when they sought a Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) test following a dispute over a four-year-old child which they both claimed to be theirs.

A DNA test is done to ascertain a person's genetic material and identity. An official from the hospital who preferred anonymity said the two women, Ms Priscilla Phiri and Ms Siphilisiwe Sibanda, arrived at the hospital on Thursday at about 5pm accompanied by their relatives.

It was Ciroc for everybody last week when Diddy, who Forbes named the richest hip-hop guy on the planet, bought every table at the newly re-opened Marquee nightclub in New York City a bottle of Ciroc vodka.

The New York Post reports that on Wednesday night the “All About the Benjamins” rapper got on the mike after hugging the evening’s DJ, DJ Vice, to announce “Diddy is back. New York is back. Marquee is back.” He also tweeted from the event, “CIRoC take OVER #NYC @djvice @marquis….WE HERE!!! Let’s go!!!!”

Diddy took the struggling vodka brand from 400K cases per year to 2.1M cases per year, after signing on in 2007. No word yet if “Diddy is back” means the hip-hop don is coming back with a new album. His last was 2010′s Diddy- Dirty Money collaboration Last Train to Paris. [Vibe]

A 44-year-old nurse, who lives at 9, Shodipo Street, Papa Ashafa, Orile Agege, has prayed an Orile Agege Grade ‘B’ Customary Court to end her 25-year-old marriage.

After enduring her husband’s excesses and laziness for years, she thought it was time to move on when she couldn’t take it anymore.

Obesity is an epidemic. We see it all over the news: Overweight people with their heads cut off walking down the street. Fat kids with faces blurred just enough to maybe protect their identity, but not enough to tell if they are actively eating food. You see, we need to see that.
